Dina got her fish from Bonita's next-door neighbor Alano. Alano had 21 fish before he gave f (algebra) of them to Dina. d. Carl has twice as many fish as Dina, who lives in House 2. Carl does not live next to Dina. e. Bonita lives in House 4 and has 3 fewer fish than Carl. f. Bob has 4 more fish than Dina. Houses 1-5 in pictures i can't draw it out online so i am telling you questions: a. who lives in which house? b. write expressions to describe the number of fish each person has. c. if the five neighbors have a total of 57 fish, how many fish does Dina have? the term a/b is a fraction. if 2 is added to the numerator, the value of the fraction is 1/2. if 3 is added to the denominator, the fraction has a value of 1/3. the value of the sum a+b is ______________________ (blank) A lobster's age in years is approximately his weight multiplied by 4, plus 3 years. Where are there omens of ill in Macbeth?
Not quite sure if this is the right act or scene, but this is a line I remember and this is an example of an omen so... "By the pricking of my thumbs Something wicked this way comes" basically its saying one’s finger or thumb can be said to “tell” the future. Sometimes my little finger told me that is used to indicate that one has access to certain information, the source of which may be controversial and unscientific. Update: Actually after looking up Act 2 Scene 3... the above statement, although still being an omen of ill (which I have never heard of, but I have heard of Bird of ill Omen (the Raven)), but breaking it down, an omen is obviously a sign (from a prophecy from either good or evil)... so pretty much anything in that act related to something that is suppose to come (for telling the future)... "Knock, knock! Who’s there, in th' other devil’s name? Faith, here’s an equivocator that could swear in both the scales against either scale, who committed treason enough for God’s sake, yet could not equivocate to heaven. O, come in, equivocator." Translated: "Knock, knock! Who’s there, in the other devil’s name? Maybe it’s some slick, two-faced con man who lied under oath. But he found out that you can’t lie to God, and now he’s going to hell for perjury. Come on in, con man" Pretty sure that is correct... hope this helps :) let me know if you have any other questions :)
Help!!!! homework i hate this problem!?
What's the question?
Need help ASAP...!!!?
just line it up and multiply like normal and just count your decimal places and however many you have that is where you put it. such as 27 times 4.5 - do 27 times 45 which equals 1215. Then there is 1 number to the left of decimal so there has to be 1 decimal to left in the answer which makes it 121.5
How many hours worth of homework in College?
It's as much time as you want to put in. Honestly, homework is worth about 10% tops. It will take about 2-3 hours to complete an assignment for a given class. Significantly Less if you BS/Copy the solutions manual. Longer if you don't pay attention in class. You will need to read the book/look at examples to do the homework. You will probably read the book/look at lecture slides to study for an exam. You will take about 5 Classes per semester, each with 1 assignment per week. So if you copy the solutions it's 30min * 5 = 2.5 hours a week If you pay attention then do all your homework it's 2hr*5 = 10 hours a week. If you don't pay attention then do the homework it's: 4hr*5 = 20 hours a week You will also have Labs. They are the same as homework (time wise), except you can't NOT do it because they are all mandatory to pass any given class. When exams roll around you can just refresh on the homework if you did it by yourself, or you will need to form study groups and cram. Say, an additional 2 hours per class if you are prepared and an additional 10 if you didn't. And all the MidTerms/Finals roll around at the same time, so it's really 10-50 hours/week during exams. Your CS classes will typically have a final project worth something like 20% of your grade. My freshman/sophomore level projects took about 3-6 hours to create. My Junior/Senior level projects took around 10-50 hours to create. They are due on the day of finals, or a week before. Yeah, 50 hours. Start early on those. If they tell you to make a processor, or design a basic OS it's gonna take a long time. 4-6 of those hours will be spent writing a 50 page manual for whatever you created. That will be the easy part. You will spend a ton of time troubleshooting and testing your design because you will have to demo it for the TA. All in all, you don't need to really study consistently. You can cram at the end and do fine. It's easier if you don't, but it's hard to stay on top of everything and have a social life. Do all the assignments for half of your classes, and cram for the other half. It gives you a nice balance for free time. Oh BTW, take night classes/long 3 hour classes. Then you get 3 day weekends. ;)
Rash located on back of left hand between thumb and index finger and back to wrist?
If it keeps coming and going and is localized it could likely be eczema or psoriasis. Autoimmune skin responses, they can crop up more frequently due to contact with something you're sensitive to such as foods or fragrances or airborne allergens. Sometimes, the rash will appear to be dry skin, cracked and flaky skin, scaly or even as tiny blisters. Keeping the area clean and moistened with a good, non-fragranced lotion can help. My daughter, who has eczema, uses a prescription cream now but started with doctor recommended Cetafil or Lubriderm and still uses the Cetafil when she runs out of the prescription. For the patches on her hands, she rubs the lotion into the rash at night when she turn in and puts on soft cotton gloves, which hold in the moisture of the lotion. While it cannot get rid of this chronic autoimmune rash, it does help sooth the itch patches when she has outbreaks that spread to her torso and legs. Even though it will take 5 weeks, you'll need to make an appointment to diagnose this rash as it needs to be treated no matter what it turns out to be.
