I have a friend who doesn't listen to my advice?
i don't think she should go out with him, not anymore, but she really liked him and she wouldn't ask him out, now i'm pretty sure he's just a player, he wouldn't even ask her out. and i'm a really good friend to her, but she's a spoiled brat. her dad is rich, so she gets what she wants, she's never been grounded, even though she almost set her house on fire when i was over and she was playing with matches while i was working on our project, she thinks that because her parents let her have whatever she wants, then she should get whatever she wants from everyone. she also thinks that all of her problems are worse than all of the problems that you have or had... she's just a brat

I think this is one of those times when you just need to let the situation play out, and whoever wins, wins. Try your best to win over this girl by flirting, being nice, whatever, and if she ends up liking you, then that's great! If that happens, and your friend gets upset, just tell him that she chose you over him, and it was really all her decision, so he shouldn't be mad at you. If your friend ends up winning over this girl, my advice would be to handle it with maturity. Don't freak out or get mad, just accept it and move on with your life. I'm guessing that you're young, which means that there will be plenty more girls in your life to flirt with and date. I think this could be a good situation to practice exercising your maturity. If it comes down to the fact that you need to get over the girl, my absolute best advice that I find works every time is to distance yourself from her, and focus on someone new. That has worked every single time I've ever had to get over a guy. You'll be over your crush in no time. Good luck! Im a fat girl who never had a boyfriend before. i want to get a boyfriend but i cant get one. some advice?
Trust me sweetie, you don't want a boyfriend at that age. They are nothing but shallow little boys who dont look for personality in a girl. I was the same as you at 14. I had very little friends, and looked a mess, hence no guy would touch me, and I often got bullied. I fancied guys but they never liked me back. I had two boys as my best friends, one was gay and the other was a womanizer, but he was like my brother. but it wasnt the same. I wanted a bf. at 16 in the last year of high school I liked one of my best friends. he was going out with one of my girl mates, who i then fell out with because of confusing and stupid occurances. (very long story) it wrecked my friendship with the guy as he chose her. (she treated him badly and he wouldnt believe me) At 17 I lost weight and ended up having my first bf. it lasted a month.... he cheated... a few months later i turned to online chatting to guys, and went downhill with it, until i met a guy that was so different from others. He wasn't after one thing and we chatted for hours about life and interests. (he asked me what i watch on tv, i said friends and he said he did too.... turns out he didnt lol he said it to date me.... then i got him to watch it with me and he LOVES it now. he always wants to watch it lol) This guy is my world. We are still together a year and a half on. we have had our ups and downs but he's always been there for me. Also, the best friend I fell out with got sick of my ex mate he was dating and dumped her, and realised he had ditched me when i warned him. he text me 3 months into my relationship with my bf and we are now mates again. he has a gf who im also friends with, and we've double dated. my point is hun, bfs are well worth the wait, and do not lose dignity or respect for yourself trying to get one. Do not change who you are. I never thought i'd find someone who loved me for me. I'm still a little overweight and chubby. my bf is also chubby and had bad relationships as well. it makes us compatible and its made him realise that there are decent women out there, just like he's made me realise i am beautiful and there are decent guys out there. Sorry to ramble but i hate knowing there are girls that feel like I used to feel.

Why can't you talk to her? If you're too shy, look at it this way: you have 2 choices - walk up to her and have a conversation, or continuing wondering how that would turn out until the opportunity is gone. If you're worried about rejection, look at it this way: if she reciprocates interest you gain something, and if she rejects you then you neither gain nor lose anything - therefore the logical choice is to try as you have nothing to lose. Have a little confidence so you can at least let her realize you exist - that's a start. Also, don't stress yourself out over it; just be casual but polite and aim simply to have a pleasant talk. Don't barrage her with questions, but do try to learn a bit about her each time you chat.
