Is it illegal to videotape someone with your cell phone in school without their consent?
It would be illegal if the person being video taped had a reasonable expectation of privacy. For example it would be illegal to video tape someone in a bathroom, locker/dressing room or in their home through a window which are places where a person expect to have reasonable privacy. In public it is a different issue, there is no expectation of privacy when you walk down the street or are in public areas. The classroom is a public area even if it is in a private school. The reason is that at any moment any number of individuals could walk into that class room and observe(See) you. You as a reasonable thinking individual would expect this so you would not be surprised to see another teacher or student walk into the class room. Therefore you would not expect a level of privacy comparable to say changing clothes in a locker room. The school can have a written policy and post signs in the public spaces where it wishes to prohibit video and photography of any kind. But this policy must have been in place before the incident in question, The policy must be applied in a consistant fashion, and the policy must be communicated via signage. You must also consider how your images may be used. YOu cannot slander an individual. Video of the singing could not be used of a private individual for purpose of ridicule or making fun of. Usage of images of private individuals for commercial gain would require a release form granting consent for specific usage of the image. However no release form is necessary if the images are deamed newsworthy. You took video to promote the upcomming concert for example or to document the hard work necessary to become proficient in singing.

1) Go through your closet and clean it out. Make two piles (1) donate to charity (2) recycle to turn it to something cuter (there are lots of videos on youtube to do that) 2) Make a list of what you will need depending on what you have outgrown. It also depends what grade you are going into. Anywhere around late middle school or high school I suggest this: 2-4 new pairs of jeans 2-3 new pairs of shoes (or more if you MUST need it) 8-10 new tops (7 if your looking to save money) jewelry and accessories depending on what you have in terms of clothing. a new purse, new jewelry collection would all just be luxury if you have enough $$$ $150 seems fine TIPS: shop on sale days, nordstrom is having one huge one TOMORROW. Wednesdays are great for shopping and saving at the stores you listed. make sure you go through the back of the store to make sure there is something similiar on clearance you can buy. DON'T feel pressured to buy anything too expensive or over the topo!
