Me Looking For An Old Mahjong Game I Used To Play On Pc

What is the best video game you can start playing on a PC with a normal mid-level spec?

Ever since I quit my job in corporate I've had a much tighter budget than I used to. My old gaming PC broke down and it was a mid-level spec 5 years ago: i5 2500k, 760GTX and 16GB RAM and 128GB SSD.Today, I use my gaming laptop. It's even worse spec that my desktop, with a 5-year old mobile i7, 755GT M SLI, and 8GB RAM and a slow as hell 5400 RPM hard-drive.I am still playing modern games like Overwatch, Dead by Daylight and Vermintide 2 at around 120fps, I just reduce the resolution a bit. (ok I lied Dead by Daylight runs at like 45fps, the game coding is junk). But I still run both Overwatch and Vermintide at over 100fps to take advantage of my 144Hz monitor. I could run these games at full resolution but I only get around 90fps on my old rig, and I want it up to around 120 so a little resolution hit isn't so bad for the extra fluidness. If I set everything to Ultra I certainly wouldn't be able to hit these framerates and the game would be unplayable (30 fps is borderline unplayable to me for a 3D/FPS game, sorry console buffs) but I choose to sacrifice some visual fidelity for a much better gaming experience. You can do so with really modest hardware these days: PC gaming hit a plateau many years ago. People are just sick of the neverending upgrade cycle and hardware companies like Nvidia simply aren't creating good enough hardware to give us real incentives to upgrade. (in fact Nvidia's stock took a beating recently because gamers aren't upgrading as much as they used to).

Is playing hacked games illegal?

pretty much everyone here has NO clue wtf they are talking about lol...

Downloading ANY copyrighted games from the internet, modded or not, is illegal. Even if you own the game, downloading them is still illegal. The only legal way to play roms is to rip them yourself from your own games.

And hacked versions of game are illegal,. since they are modifying copyrighted intellectual property w/o permission (even mods for pc games are illegal, since you dont own the right to modify it. But some games allow people to do it, and some games dont really care due to its usually helping them more then hurting them).

Now it would be like impossible to tell if someones using a mod, so it would be impossible to go after, but the people who upload mods can be sued if the copyright holder so chooses. But unless its directly affecting their profits negatively, they wouldnt do it.

Lets play videos are also illegal. You dont have the right to record it either. Again most copyright holders for games wont take the videos down, since its free advertising for them. But often times lets play videos on emulators are taken down.
(i dont get why people think "its on youtube, so that means it legal!" lol)

There are some grey areas though. Like if you own the game, downloading it would probably be fine since it would be impossible to tell if the rom you are using you ripped yourself or downloaded.

And if you dont own the game and download it, it still can be ok. This is in reference to older games from systems where games are no longer made/sold (gamecube and under). Since if you steal something that is worth $0.00 then there would be no case, since there is no loss of profit.
So downloading older games is illegal, but you cant be sued for it, so >.>

And no one has ever been jailed for downloading copyrighted things illegal afaik. There have been many people sued, but i dont think you would get jail time for it. (even though it is stealing, but its the stealing of intellectual property, which makes it a civil case)

Why can't I play a Facebook game in my Google Chrome browser?

As stated in the earlier answer playing game online that too on Facebook requires Adobe Flash Player but all the latest version on Google Chrome has inbuilt Flash Player so if its the latest version of chrome then you need not install flash player from any other source but you can simply reinstall Google Chrome but even after reinstalling Chrome the problem still persists then you can install Non-IE Flash Player from Adobe's website https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/                                        ORhttp://filehippo.com/download_fl...Make sure to install stable version of Flash Player and not Beta version.  Thanks for A2A.

School-allowed game websites?

hi :)
At my school it's the same case; the system blocks us from searching certain combinations of letters let alone gaming sites, it's very annoying..
However, the ict teachers do get pretty slack at times, and we find ways around them like...

1) We use Internet Explorer (majority of computers) so the teachers only blocked the gaming e.c.t sites on that particular browser, but we also had Mozilla Firefox, which didn't have a filter. Therfore, do you know if you can get onto another browser and see if that one doesn't filter the websites?
It worked for us, until the teachers found out xo

2) Now, we simply download the games at homw, upload them onto our memory sticks, but put them into a "homework folder" or somthing (system detects it if it isn't) and then upload the games onto our accounts at school!
But then the teacher computers in the room can look at the other computers and look at excatly whaat everyone is doing at that moment, so my gcse teacher looked at mine; first he said how crap i was at the game, then he notified the ict department *double blow* XO

3) you could type the IP address of the game site into the adress bar at the top of the page.

4) go to http://www.ibypass.org/ -- at the bottom of this site, type in/copynpaste the web adress of the game site e.gwww.miniclip.com (the "http.." is already there in the type box for you) and it should take you indirectly to the site! happy days ;)

hope this helped!

wooa, i rambled on a bit, didn't i? ;)

Is there any way to one shot empty pc (pokemon firered)?

I used a cheat to get me a bike and the held item leftovers early game, along with some masterballs, but it flooded my pc.. it says
Leftovers x?98 (the ? i found appears when you go over 999, i dont know if i just have a **** ton or if its really infinate, because the 2nd number moves when i withdraw)
Leftovers x0
Leftovers x0
Leftovers x0
Leftovers x0
Leftovers x0
Acrobike ?98 (the acrobike is the only one that didnt spam "placeholders")
Masterball ?97
Masterball x0
Masterball x0
Masterball x0

i can withdraw one at a time from the slots with 0, and it takes from the first, i dont know if these are just placeholders because i went over the number limit for one slot? If i knew for sure that taking the time to withdraw would get rid of the x0 slots i would do it, so far ive withdrew and tossed 6000 leftovers and thers still 6 placeholders and 1 infinate pile...

any help here?
