What is the meaning of the song Crossfade Colors? What story do you get from the lyrics???

Can you feel it crush you? Does it seem to bring the worst in you out?
There's no running away from these things that hold you down
Do they complicate you because they make you feel like this?
Of all the colors that you've shined this is surely not your best

But you should know these colors that you're shining are...
[Chorus x2:]
Surely not the best colors that you shine
I know you feel alone, yeah, and no one else can figure you out
But don't you ever turn away from the ones that help you down?
Well they'd love to save you. Don't you know they love to see you smile?
But these colors that you've shined are surely not your style
[Chorus x2]
I know you're feeling like you're lost
But you should know these colors that you're shinin are
I know you're feeling like you're lost,
You feel you've drifted way too far
Did you know these colors that you're shinin' are

[Chorus x2]
Surely not the best..
(I know you're feeling like you're lost)
Colors that you shine..
(but you should know these colors that you're shining are)
Surely not the best..
(I know you're feeling like you're lost you feel you`ve drifted way too far)
Did you know these colors that you're shinin' are..

Which is the Taylor Swift song lyrics you're most addicted to?

All Too WellWell, maybe we got lost in translation, maybe I asked for too much, But maybe this thing was a masterpiece 'til you tore it all up. Hey, you call me up again just to break me like a promise. So casually cruel in the name of being honest. I'm a crumpled up piece of paper lying here The raw feeling in this song made me fall in love with it. When a relationship fails, blaming yourself and then realizing it's not all your fault. Its a very relatable feeling, trying to move on just to be pulled back and hurt. Wildest DreamsI thought heaven can't help me now. Nothing lasts forever, but this is gonna take me down. He's so tall and handsome as hell, he's so bad but he does it so well. I can see the end as it begins. My one condition is, Say you'll remember me standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunsetI love the lyrics of this song because it tells a story that so many know. Falling in love with someone you know you shouldn't and knowing its going to end and its going to hurt, but you still jump in. It's worth it. Long LiveWill you take a moment, promise me this, that you'll stand by me forever. But if God forbid, fate should step in and force us into a goodbye, if you have children some day, when they point to the pictures, please tell them my name. I'm addicted to these lyrics because they convey an experience that many of us go through. We all try to hold on to our friendships, but if we can't, we just hope they'll remember us like we'll remember them.

Twenty One Pilots song meanings?

Hi,
You just introduced me to these guys and I thank you for that. It appears as though I could get hooked. Now, your project: start with the meaning behind or at least the story behind how they got their name. I like the fact that it was borrowed from literary work and the message within actually stuck with them. As far as a particular song, I’m going to give the guys credit and assume the writer is intellectual and suggest you use: Addict with a Pen. Simple translation from what I read is that it is about his struggles that have allowed him to stray from God. Water is symbolic of God/Jesus throughout literary works and although it starts off leaning towards a song a kid wrote for his own earthly father, the references to water that he just can’t grasp and then the lines about being an expert at dying solidifies for me that he is referring to his faith and the distance he has with the Lord. In my opinion, the song is his prayer expressing his disappointment in himself.
Have fun with it and try to spark a good debate and the teacher will love it.
