Measuring Carry On Backpack

Can i carry a backpack and a duffel bag onto alaska airlines?

Alaska Airlines operates different sized planes. It depends partly on where you are flying, and partly on exactly how big the duffel bag is. You're allowed one carry-on bag, which including wheels and handles can measure up to 10" H x 17" W x 24" L (25 x 43 x 61 cm), plus one personal item, such as a purse, briefcase or laptop computer. At least one of the items should be stowed under the seat in front of you. Other restrictions may apply if you have connecting flights. And you may be able to Sky Check the bag. Here is a link to their general carry on baggage policy.

Is a JanSport backpack suitable for a carry on?

I will be traveling internationally to Italy in less than a month with United Airlines. I was researching on whether or not my backpack is OK to use as a carry-on. It's hard to measure it because of the fact it isn't stuffed. However, It is relatively big and is model TDN7. Thank you for any help

Can I carry a backpack and duffelbag onto the plane?

Those rules are quite straightforward.
You need to look at your reservation to see whether your plane will be an F50, which has a lower hand luggage count and weight allowance (1 piece no more than 5 kg) allowance, or one of the other two (up to 2 pieces with 7 kg combined weight).
No matter which aircraft it is, no piece of hand luggage may be more than 23x34x48 cm in size.

So measure your duffle and backpack, and see if either or both of them meet the size limitations for hand luggage on Alliance. Then make sure that you're not exceeding the weight limit. 7 kg isn't very much, and that includes the weight of the bag(s) itself.

Yes, you can bring granola bars and fruit snacks on airplanes.

I don't like my backpack anymore?

It's a mossimo backpack I got at Target. When buying it I was mostly worried about fitting all my books. I made a mistake though by not actually measuring the books, hence buying a huge, bulky backpack. Don't get me wrong, it was super cute - for the first few days. But then I realized that the pattern was way too busy and since it was so large, it hurt my back. Also, it clashed with a lot of my outfits.

What do you think? I'm fourteen, and just got this backpack for Christmas, so I'm a bit uneasy about getting a new one so soon. I do have the money to pay for one though, so I don't have to worry about that. The one I'm thinking of buying is a BDG black leather backpack from Urban Outfitters. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Do you have any suggestions for the best Carry-on travel backpack (could pass strict airline carry-on measurements) that I can use also for multi-day hike/climb in the mountain?

Hi,Visit Online Shopping: Shop Online for Mobiles, Books, Watches, Shoes and More and in the search box type: marjaqeIts the only brand in India that provides 100% waterproof backpack, which no other company provides.Advantages:Its a multipurpose bag that can be used for travelling, hiking, trekking, kayaking, river rafting, biking, cycling, etc.Completely waterproof bag which means your stuffs won't get wet even in rainy conditions.I have personally used this bag for one of my mountaineering expedition to a 6000 meter peak and our team could reach an altitude of about 5300 meters. I was apprehensive that the bag would develop cracks due to extreme weather conditions, but that didn't happen. The same bag I passed it on to my friend to test for a cycling trip from Manali to Khardung La Pass during monsoons. And he too came up with the conclusion as I had. All the stuffs remained in the same dry condition when they were stuffed in the bag and when they removed it at their hotel rooms, even if they had to pass through rains. Here's a photo of the bag:Thanks.

Will a 15.6 inch laptop fit in a 15 inch backpack?

Yes.There are no 15″ laptops (well, maybe, a few). When people refer to 15″ laptops, they actually mean 15.6″ laptops and just don’t bother to mention those extra .6″
