Medical Transcription Paralegal And Graphic Design

How can I link medicine to my passion of graphic design?

Yes. There are design firms that focus solely on the medical field. Some studios are even founded by medical professionals. Most major hospitals even have an in house design department. Some even have medical illustration. If the hospital is also a teaching hospital there may be even more opportunities there.I don't know where you are based, but I live in Philadelphia. Penn Medicine, Jefferson, Temple and Wills Eye are all based here, so there are a lot of design studios that focus on the medical field. I’ve also seen a lot of job postings for designers and medical illustrators for Jefferson…and frequently. While you're still in school look at the hospitals near you and near your school and inquire about their design departments. Then see if there are design firms around you specializing in medicine. You may be surprised. You'll have a leg up since you intend to study medicine.Designers with a speciality (i.e. Medical, UX, production, etc) tend to make more than regular graphic designers.

What are the differences between Penn Foster College and Ashworth College?

I am a student of Penn Foster Associate degree program. Both Penn Foster and Ashworth are Nationally accredited through DEAC. Their tuition is almost same (Penn Foster is very slightly more than Ashworth).I chose Penn Foster mainly because many (but not all) of their courses were evaluated for college credit by ACE. So even if my next (Regionally Accredited” college will not transfer my Associate degree in full, most of the individual courses might transfer due to the wider acceptance of ACE evaluationThe National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training
