There is no permanent cure for epilepsy. All you can do is to make your nervous system strong and develop natural immunity to the excitation of nerve cells. Sure, for each kind of seizure, age and patient characteristics, we can reasobably predict which will fare better.I have some patients that, after discussing pros and cons, we have decided to keep treatment, in spite of being able to stop it.
