If you could only play 12 Gameboy games, which games would you select? A multicart will be counted as 1 game.
In no particular order:Pokemon Silver (honestly any of the first gen or 2nd gen games would be fine)Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening (I would knock off one of these others for Oracle of Seasons or Ages, but they are Gameboy Colour)Mega Man VMega Man IVKirby’s DreamlandKirby’s Dreamland 2Super Mario Land 2Wario Land 1: Super Mario Land 3Donkey Kong Land 3TetrisGolfSuper Mario LandThere are plenty I did not include, it was a great system!

What is the best Megaman game for a handheld console?
Gameboy- Megaman V: features new and unique robot masters named after planets. the game is also full of excellent music as well, almost every stage is memorable. great ending too!Gameboy Advance- Megaman Zero Series: specifically 3 or 4. if you have to chose one, go with MMZ4.DS- Megaman ZX series: there are two titles in this series. both are exceptional games. Megaman ZX may edge out its sequel (Megaman ZX Advent) in terms of story and gameplay. however, MMZXA’s soundtrack is much better imo. as i said, cant go wrong with either one here.theres also the Xtreme series on the GB Color, the Megaman Battle Network series on the GBA, and Starforce series on the DS. however, be warned- the BN and SF games ARE NOT platformers/side-scrollers like most other megaman games. theyre difficult to categorize, but can be considered rpg/strategy i guess… grid based, turn-based combat in an rpg-world setting.if i had to chose one… Megaman Zero 4. its extremely polished and well-crafted. features the best music from the zero series, interesting and unique bosses accompanied by stage environments and settings we havent seen in previous mm games. also, the ending is both epic and melancholy to say the least, very memorable.i suppose it depends on which console you have then. but if youre emulating and you wanna try a few random handheld mm games. my personal top 5 are- MMV, MMZ3, MMZ4, MMZX, and MMZXA.on a side note- i have a yt channel dedicated to Megaman gameplay. in the interest of helping you make your decision (not to blindly self-promote) stop by sometime. all the games mentioned here are featured in their entirety... and many more that arent mentioned here. just search yt for “sliider” and im sure youll find it. hope all this helps.
Megaman Battle Network 6 Japanese Rom?
I was looking for this game myself. I too like playing the Japanese versions of Rockman EXE. Here's the Falzar Version, completely in Japanese, just copy and paste: http://www.freeroms.com/roms/gameboy_advance/rockman_exe_6_-_dennoujuu_faltzer_japan.htm
I am someone who wants to start playing Mega Man, which games should I play first?
I would suggest going from easiest to hardest.Start with Mega Man 2, it's by far the easiest one… Except for that one Wily stage with the crash bomb puzzles (You know the one, we all do…)Then 5, 4, and 3. As you see they get progresively harder.Next up is 6, which is the best one out of the NES classics, fite’ me.Then 7, and 1, which concludes the Nintendo era.I have never played 8, but judging by the gameplay I think it would be right between 7 and 1.This is where it gets harder, you need to play 10, 9, and if for some reason you still haven't had enough (What a masochist), play the one and only…Megaman and Bass.No E-tank, borderline useless power ups, bat-sh*t crazy level design, and the Wily stages…Those unforgivable Wily stages.I haven't been able to defeat those bosses to this day. ShiversMegaman 11 comes out on december, I can't wait to see where in the hierarchy of madness that one lands. The Mega Man franchise is a treasure, I hope you have fun!
