Mesenteric Adenitis Advice .

What can I eat with mesenteric adenitis?

Drink plenty of fluids, such as a sports drink or water, to prevent dehydration. If you have trouble tolerating liquids, take them in frequent sips. Make sure that you're urinating normally and that your urine is light and clear — not dark. Infrequent passage of dark urine is a sign of dehydration. Gradually begin to eat bland, easy-to-digest foods, such as soda crackers, toast, gelatin, bananas, rice and chicken. Stop eating if your nausea returns. Gradually introduce bland, easy-to-digest foods, such as toast, rice, bananas and potatoes.Go back to the doctor if your fever comes back if you had one or if you get diarrhea.

What are the complications of mesenteric lymphadenitis?

If it primary meaning that it is its own condition and not a sign of something else, nothing. Usually if you are 25 and under. It is a self-limited condition secondary usually to a virus or in fewer cases a bacteria in your GI tract. There are other conditions associated with it but you would have other symptoms. Frequently mesenteric lymphadenitis or adenitis is confused for appendicitis in young people. Doctors can sort it out with imaging tests. This is a hard question to answer as I do not know what you, your friend, or loved one has for sure. If concerned, I would talk to your doctor as they are the best person for this advice.

How likely is a 2.9 cm speculated mass in the mesenteric lymph node cancerous? CT scan also indicated a 10 cm inflamed section with stricture in ileum. I have Crohn's disease and on Cimzia.

You need to report this condition to the developers of Cimzia, as they can benefit from any information concerning adverse reactions/possible side effects to any new medication.Taken from the https://www.cimzia.com/sites/def...“Malignancies, some fatal, have been reported among children, adolescents, and young adults who received treatment with TNF-blocking agents (initiation of therapy ≤ 18 years of age), of which CIMZIA is a member. Approximately half the cases were lymphomas, including Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The other cases represented a variety of different malignancies and included rare malignancies usually associated with immunosuppression and malignancies that are not usually observed in children and adolescents. The malignancies occurred after a median of 30 months of therapy (range 1 to 84 months). Most of the patients were receiving concomitant immunosuppressants. These cases were reported post-marketing and are derived from a variety of sources including registries and spontaneous post-marketing reports. CIMZIA is not indicated for use in pediatric patients.”Most importantly, discus this situation with your gastroenterologist and cancer specialist.

Why do ppl seek medical attention for fever when it's actually good for health?

Surprised! ya really! I've done some research going thru some articles on internet about this. they say that fever is nothing but normal response of the body to elevate the body temperature to fight disease causing germs. generally fever may last for 3 to 5 days and will decrease after the body destroys the germs.

and if one takes medicines to cure it, he's actually suppressing the fever by willfully allowing the germs to enter his body which may cause disease later.

"it's like the fire brigades switching off the fire alarm rather than fighting the fire!"

then why do medical practitioners advice medical attention for fever? r they taking advantage of peoples' ignorance?!

Pain in lower right abdomen when moving?

well, it sounds like a appendicitis. The main symptom of appendicitis is abdominal pain. The pain is at first diffuse and poorly localized, that is, not confined to one spot. (Poorly localized pain is typical whenever a problem is confined to the small intestine or colon, including the appendix.) The pain is so difficult to pinpoint that when asked to point to the area of the pain, most people indicate the location of the pain with a circular motion of their hand around the central part of their abdomen. A second, common, early symptom of appendicitis is loss of appetite which may progress to nausea and even vomiting. Nausea and vomiting also may occur later due to intestinal obstruction.... U could also have a bladder infection. I used to get them.. But If the pain gets worse In the next 24 hours.. or it gets to the point where u cant walk (thats how it was wih me) then go to the doctor..
