What are some slang terms used among police officers?

The most derogatory terms for the bad guys and citizens who are just pains in the rectum:A.H. = Adam Henry (A-dam H-enry) If you don’t get it…..sometimes you will hear it as “Jack Hole”…..now what starts with an “A” that ends with HOLE ?RICHARD CRANIUM= What starts with a “D” and is a nickname for Richard ? What is the non-medical layman’s term for the Cranium ? Do these clues HEAD you in the right direction ?

Traditional South African games and activities for kids?

Do you remember "wolf, wolf, hoe laat is dit?!" ?
Its like playing jagertjie with a group of children, one in the group plays the wolf, then the others sing and ask : wolf wolf, what is the time? then the wolf can say 8o'clock....then the children can repeat the question over and over until the wolf say: "Etens tyd!" and chases every one and the child to be caught for "lunch" is the next one to play the wolf. very exciting cause you never now when the wolf decides to go hunting!

Have fun, trying to think of other games. Cant remember Bok-Bok or Swartvark anymore...will let you know.

oh, and you can use "lantern bekruip" at the camp, do you know it? Or even "bokdrol spoeg" for fun with sweets. "Sak resies", Eier hardkloop (were you try and run with an egg on a spoon in a race), Twee-been resies (were two kids inner legs a tied together and they have to race other teams) and Onder-handjie-klap. What about Vroteier?

I also though about "kat en muis" en "knopie".Knopie is where a circle of kids take hands and without letting go, tie the circle in a knot by criscrossing the oposites of the sircle...once in a "knoop"..they have to plan and wurm a way to untangle the knot until they are back in a circle facing eachother.

Hoe klink ek sien met my kleine kleine ogies? but I-spy is a international game too right? How about musical shairs?

You can perhaps also tell legendary south-African stories with a picture board, stories like that of Wolraad Woltemade, Harry Woluter, Rageltjie De Beer, Jock of the Bushveld etc. Just for fun.

It could also be nice to use something like "Olke bolke....." to place the kids into teams if the game you play has teams. How about a sport like jukskei..that very South-African.

sorry I dont know any traditional Black south-african games that children play, I'm giving ideas from a white afrikaans background. Hope you find what you are looking for...

The Beatles vs My Chemical Romance?

The Beatles are better cause:
1) George Harrison can acually play the guitar
2) Ringo Starr, even his name is cooler
3) Across the Universe has to be one of the best songs ever written
4) John Lennon has a brain
5) Paul McCartney is simply adorable (to counteract all the "OMG, Gerard Way is sooooo hot")
6) MCR is composed of little emo middleclass white kids who are so bored with their lives they have to make up problems to mope over.
7) MCR doesn't live on a yellow submarine!
8) The Beatles did this little thing called making great music.

Teaching Tap To 3 to 5 Year Olds?

Hi I'm a student dance teacher in a tap class for 3 to 5 year olds. The class is about 25 minutes long. First when they come in we turn on some music and work on steps such as these: Students bend down with hands on knees and tap toes on the ground by rocking on their heels, then they stand and tap their heels by rocking side to side. One step we do is pick up one leg, bent at the knee and hit it with the same hand while holding the other arm up straight, then switch. We say "hit hit step." We also do shuffle and shuffle hop down. When we teach shuffles we say "pick up your foot in the back, now brush, back, down." Work on teaching them their right and left. One move we use a lot in their dances is "side, dig, bouncy bounce," which is just stepping out to the side, stepping in together with the other foot, then bouncing by bending knees. Have them dance to songs that have words they can sing and make up motions to go with the words. At the end of class they line up in a "train" and chug their feet out the door. Hope this makes any sense!

I daydream/fantasize a lot...is this normal?

So, I'm a sophomore in college (19 yrs. old).. and i daydream a lot. As long as i can remember, I've been doing it. when I was a kid, I would read a lot of books, or watch Power Rangers, and always play out the scenarios in my head. The thing is i still do these things, whether, it's reading a book, watching the world cup and dreaming about how cool it'd be to play for Germany, or just simply listening to music... I usually end up daydreaming. And it's weird, because it's not like I will ever play for Germany lol, I'm not even good at soccer..
Another example, i play tennis for fun, and fantasize about playing tennis someday with some girl that I barely know...she's cute :).or i'll daydream about hanging out with friends I haven't made yet. In terms of music, i'll daydream about dancing to a song at a club, when I don't even dance, although I'd like to... the point i'm getting at is that these fantasies are quite unlikely to happen, but is this normal or should I be worried? Is there anything I could do to cut it down a bit?

Thanks,

Also, I am a straight A student (4.0), and have never been tested for ADD.. I do have trouble focusing because I tend to daydream...I don't have many friends, kinda wish I had more, but not the most outgoing person... don't know if that has anything to do with it.
