Micromax A116 Usb Thetering Internet Connection

How can I use Android USB tethering in Windows 7 to connect computer to Internet via phone's data connection?

Its very easy. Okay first you need to install android drivers on windows 7. I think its android samsung universal something driver. I'm not having my laptop with me right now otherwise i could have gave u exact driver. But anyways, if you have reputated vendor's device then just install driver of that model from company website or simply google it.Then, you need to connect your cable with mobile attached to system's usb port. Well, You need to go android setting->More->Tethering & portable hotspot-> USB Tethering. Just turn on it on.If above steps solved your problem then ignore this one, look for setting-> developer option and turn it on for usb tethering. If you won't get usb tethering option then simply go to settings->About phone ->build number. Click 5 times on build number to show the developer option.Once you got it, turn it on.And then you can check in command prompt of windows 7 by typing command :C:> adb devicesAbove command will show you list of devices connected if you have adb installed & configured in system variables. (Its optional)And then plug cable out & then plugin & den repeat these steps.Hope i solve your issue. :-)

Is it possible to share the Internet connection of your PC (LAN or dongle) on your mobile through a data cable?

Yes.. You can do it through Reverse Tethering. Some mobile companies call it as Internet Connection Pass-through. Its pretty simple if you use the company made application or suite. Else, there are several other party apps available that are available both for mobile and PC that work together. My computer is not detecting a MT65xx preloader when I connect it to my phone after taking out the battery. Are there any solutions?

Your phone is a MediaTek device. See, your computer requires two drivers:To identify your phone when it is in the ON state. This helps you use your phone as a USB Storage/Media device/Camera/Installer, or allows charging of the phone from the PC or use as a camera/modem/storage device. To identify your phone when it is in the OFF state. This is required for some mighty tasks, such as replacing a ROM on your phone with a new ROM (called flashing). You need the 2nd kind of driver, that is, a Preloader driver (also called VCOM drivers). You have either of the two problems:You aren't sending any signals from the battery-less phone to your computer to let the computer know that it is connected to an Android phone that is OFF. This can be fixed by pressing the volume buttons until your computer detects something. If your computer responds with a Driver Not Found for MT65xx or something of that sort, you need the MT65xx Preloader driver. You can get everything you need (if your cellphone is popular enough) on Android MTK. Find ROMs and flashing software both in a single zip file, plus instructions)What really is frustrating is the lack of support for MTK devices (MediaTek merged with RaLink, and they never had any proper documentation for flashing. Even SP Flash Tool has to be obtained from third-party sources). XDA Developers (android forum) is your best bet to learn how to do it.
