Microphone Issues When Live Streaming On Twitch Using Elgato Capture Hw

How do I live stream on YouTube without the microphone turned on but with the game sounds on?

There are several ways. You can use the stereo mix, found in your recording devices IF your audio card allows this. You can also use many different types of software to do this, one of them being “Voicemeeter”.I believe OBS let’s you do this straight to your youtube account anyway. Best you do some research yourself as you would of had the answer straight away.LMGTFY

I just recently started twitch streaming with my Wii U using my Elgato HD60. How do I listen to live game audio?

I personally find using my monitor (or tv in your case) the best way to use an Elgato HD60(non S) because I’ll be listening to the audio through my monitor which would be outputting audio not only through my headphones but also through the HDMI connected to my PC. Then I just have to set up a small delay in OBS for my webcam and microphone and I’ll be all set. You COULD listen though the TV itself as long as you have a cardioid mic to lower as much of the noise from the TV as possible.

What are the cheapest and best tools for Twitch streaming?

The most essential part of any streamer's tool kit, live streaming software that lets you show your game play to the world. The two most commonly used streaming programs are Open Broadcasting Software (OBS), which is completely free, and XSplit, which has a highly intuitive interface but requires a paid subscription in order to use its key features.Regardless of your choice of software, setting up your stream consists of the same general steps: picking your sources (such as your computer monitor, gameplay feed or webcam), laying out how they'll all appear for the viewer, and finally, syncing up your Twitch account and going live.

How do you handle your game volume when streaming on Twitch?

In game volume controls. You’ll want to make sure the game volume is at a comfortable level for you, but not too loud on stream.OBS gain controlThis is the sliding meter in the audio window. A standard setting would be anything between 0.0 and -6.0OBS Audio FX settingsOBS has a full suite of audio FX tools, including noise gating (preventing tiny sounds from being picked up,) noise reduction, compression, gain and more.PC Volume ConrolIf after all of that you find that the game is too loud in your ear when it’s right on your stream, or vice versa, turn to Windows or your PC’s normal audio control options. Get the audio level correct in OBS first, then adjust to your preference in your headphones. For your audio meters in OBS, those colors on the bar are important. If it doesn’t hit yellow, the sound will likely be too quite or your viewers will be raising their volume significantly to hear it. If it’s entering the red, it’s doing what I call “pushing” and will cause the speakers to put out crushed, really unpleasant sound that’s way too loud.

How do you use Twitch to stream an emulator?

I have some experience with streaming using Steam however I was using Justin.tv and I've never used Twitch before.
I was wondering if I'm able to use Twitch to stream a game from an emulator or do I need to use an external source?
Some step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.
If you need to know which emulator it is the PCSX2 (Playstation 2 Emulator)

What is the best way to stream to Twitch from a PS4?

It’s not the best way but here are my suggestions:1:You can stream directly from your PS4. There’s a way to connect your Twitch account with your PSN and you’ll be able to stream from there. Unfortunately, you won’t have alerts or an overlay, but they do have a chat feature so you can see the incoming messages. When I was streaming through my PS4, I used StreamElements as my bot as it was able to tell me when I have a new followers, sub, or any of the cools things that you would see in any other channel in my chat.OR2:If you have a PC, you can try RemotePlay. I don’t have a capture card, but I was able to download this program, use OBS, and did a window capture of my Remote Play screen. It worked very seamless and I had no lag.And since I was using StreamElements, I already had my overlay prepared when my PC was ready. Just had to tweak a few things, and I quickly learned how to use OBS for my scenes.Hope this helps!

Streaming on Twitch with my Macbook Pro?

Hey people :)
I just got to Diamond (5) League so I thought I would stream some League of Legends just for funnsies.

Although I used to play on my Alienware, this is broken and since I can play on my Mac I'd rather do that than buying a new computer. Since I'm on my Mac I kind of need a way to stream onto Twitch.tv on my Mac :D

I've heard of people doing it before, so if someone knows how to do it, that woul be awesome :)

What's a good, free and easy recording software I can use for games like Minecraft, Roblox and some Steam games?

While it's geared for live streaming with Twitch, OBS (Open Broadcaster Software -- https://obsproject.com/ ) does have a recording option so you can capture pretty much anything on your computer (as well as outside sources, like a webcam, microphone, ect.) as well as set up your layout (being just as simple as capturing your gameplay OR as complex as recording your gameplay + webcam AND other dynamic stuff) for recording without any watermarks (excluding the ones you add yourself).

OBS does have a bit of a learning curve, but the help files & guides online can make it easier for you to get set up. Exact set-up time will vary from a few minutes for something simple, quick & dirty to a few hours for something that's more complex & professional looking.

As for audio, pretty much what you hear on your computer will pretty much be what you'll record... so if there's any audio issues with your system, you'll want to address them ahead of time or look at replacing the sound card in your system (as a potential solution).
