What don't they tell you about dating an attractive woman?
They are human.Sure they do look better most of the time, but what many people don’t realize is they are probably more insecure than they are. My friend Carley (not her real name) once described it perfectly; “It’s like giving a speech in front of a couple thousand people, except these people never take their eyes off you. And then you begin to wonder, maybe there’s something wrong with my hair. Do my arms look fat? omg, my arms look fat. Are my legs too hairy? I hate my nose! Please stop staring at me”They will take forever to get ready. Sure they could get ready in 5 minutes but you don’t want to rush them (trust me). They will do what they can do look their best at all times. It’s worth the wait.Dating an attractive woman does make you feel a teeny tiny bit confident. Just a tiny bit. Be sure to enjoy that stupid smug look on your face when your lady turns heads everywhere. Street cred anyone?Your character will be tested. Guys will check her out and hit on her. Sometimes, right in front of you and will act like you don’t exist. Some will be sweeter than you are, better looking, more romantic, etc. but whatever you do, do not let your insecurities get the best of you. Let her turn down other people’s advances on her own (she’s human too and is capable of taking care of herself) but also be prepared to stand up for her when things start to look ugly (more often than not, they will. sad.)Most importantly, she will have a past. Sometimes, a very rich or ugly past, depending on how you look at it. She has heard your corny lines before and seen it all. But she is with you. Spend more time learning about her, unraveling her personality, and overall building a healthy relationship together. Because the rainy days will come, the deadly farts will follow, and morning breath will make itself at home. You’ll need the strong bond…
