Why does my Minecraft PE keeps on crashing?

There can be varying reasons, BUT(Reason 1) Your device may be too old to support the game, or if you have a cheaper device (Nothing wrong with that, we all need to budget somewhere) You may not have the specifications to run the game. To run the game on a mobile device or tablet you most likely want to have at least 2GB of ram for a smooth experience, but you can probably get away with something like 1.5GB of ram. Your processor on the device should also be newer than 2013, to run the game smoothly, Most newer devices CAN run pocket edition. You also need to have at least 350mb or so for the game, and maybe more. ( That can depend on how many worlds you have and how much you explore on them and what you do)The game used to be easier to run, but as there has been updates to the game it has gotten larger and harder to run.(Reason 2) Maybe your graphics settings are to high for your device, and your device is getting worked up, perhaps try to lower them and see if that makes a change to your playing experience.(Reason 3) - [Question first] where you able to play the game previously? and/or did it recently update? If you where able to play the game recently maybe your device had an update, in which sometimes can mess up things like this. You can also try to reinstall the game if you have no luck with the previous reasons. Also if it was recently updated maybe try going back to a previous version.(Reason 4) Sometimes Pirated versions of the game crash and do not work, If this is the reason why, I would suggest actually buying the game..And if your really passionate, eventually save up for a new device ;)Good Luck!

Why does the Minecraft game keep crashing?

There are a lot of possibilities…running out of memory, incompatible mods, texture pack greater than your memory and CPU can handle. If it’s every once in a while I recommend the mod Optifine this really helps minecraft run smoother. There is a log file that can help debug this. http://www.minecraftforum.net/fo...Hope that helps!

MineCraft keeps crashing at the title screen?

Check for registry corruption in your system. It is quite possible that the registry data has been damaged due to the corrupted registry keys created by the Minecraft. Such issues in Windows registry, which is a database to store information about all the computer programs, causes Minecraft to crash frequently. A reliable registry repairing program can help you clean Windows registry efficiently.
> Clean system junk files and browser junk files with the registry cleaner/PC optimizer software.
> Defrag Windows registry data to make the game play smooth by organizing the fragmented registry data.
> Check for antivirus/firewall blocking the game.
> Delete temporary files of the Minecraft.
> Update Video Card drivers. Sometimes the outdated drivers also result in Minecraft crash.
> Increase RAM. It is recommended you are having the required RAM capacity to avoid game troubles.
> Download Minecraft again if the solutions listed above are not working to fix the problem.
> Connect with the port number included, like this:
127.0.0.1:25565
> Reinstall java
> Special character such as (!) in the Windows user name might also create trouble. Changing the Windows account user name can be helpful.
> Sometimes the problem is caused due to the server overload. If you are able to play the game in single player offline mode then it is surely the server issue and you have to wait to play the game in multiplayer mode.
Use RegInout cleaner to fix it in easy way

Why does minecraft keep freezing and crashing?

my best bet is what shevek said.

lower ALL and ANY graphics, turn off smooth lighting, put render distance to tiny, put graphics to fast instead of fancy.

next you should force update the game to v1.5_01

you might have an old unstable version of the game.

one last question. do you have the paid for version or the uhh.... "free" version.

if it makes you feel any better i have the non-paid for version that i found off of some website. the download was a v1.2 but i updated it to v1.5_01

(the versions i speak of r the game versions, not the macbook version)

oh and i have a server, if you wish to join go ahead and email me or PM me :)

Why does my Minecraft keep crashing? How can I fix it?

Adding to Drew, it may not be an issue. your first suspicion should always be "do I have enough memory to run minecraft". Some computer can handle 10k TNT explosions but some barely survive 50. Corrupted save file can also be the case.If your minecraft is modded and you have lots of mods installed, check the mod compatibility. Also, make sure the mod is updated with the latest minecraft version.
