Minecraft Recipe Memorized Issue

How many crafting recipes are there in minecraft?

my little cousin just asked me how do you remember all of the crafting recipes in minecraft? and i now that i think about it...i dont know...so i was just curious on how many crafting recipes in total there are in the pc verson of minecraft. it wouldnt hurt to know:)

How can you memorize recipes?

The simpler, the easier to remember like the other person said. You could simply use a rote method of reading it over and over also.
Personally, I think it's more important start to remember what flavors compliment each other and various ways of preparing foods. It will give you a knowledge base to draw from when you want to customize recipes to suit your tastes or to make them better. I've memorized very few recipes. I'm always more interested in new ideas. Best wishes in your cooking. :)

How do you get diamonds in Minecraft?

If you’re using the IndustrialCraft 2 mod, you can actually make your own diamonds! (The IC2 mod can be found in many modpacks, including the Erbosoft Vista modpack. End of free plug. :) )The equipment you’ll need for this is a macerator and a compressor. You’ll also need to have them hooked up to power, with an appropriate power source (generator, solar panels, wind turbine, nuclear reactor, etc.) and maybe an appropriate power storage unit (BatBox, CESU, MFSU, etc.), and, of course, the appropriate cables to connect all of these pieces. Both machines take LV power, unless you equip them with transformer upgrades, so you may have to use a step-down transformer between your power source or storage system and your machines. The materials you’ll need are:64x coal (so, 1 full stack)8x flint1x obsidianRun the stack of coal through the macerator to get 64x coal dust (this will take awhile). In your crafting table, arrange 8 coal dust in a square around 1 flint. This creates a coal ball. Put that in the compressor to get a compressed coal ball. Repeat this 7 times, so you have 8 compressed coal balls in all. Now, in your crafting table, arrange 8 compressed coal balls in a square around 1 obsidian. This creates a coal chunk. Put that in the compressor, and, HAYO! A diamond!Yes, this recipe is very inefficient (a whole stack of coal to make one diamond!), and requires you to get up to a fairly high level of technological development first. But it is possible!See also the Industrial-Craft-Wiki.

What are some good Minecraft modpacks for beginners?

First of all, you’ll want a launcher. As Sahil pointed out, Curse is a good launcher to start with. Once you’ve installed it, you’ll want to go to the settings, and allocate at least 4gb RAM to minecraft, and ensure you have 64bit Java7/8. Modded minecraft tends to use a ton of memory. Now you’ll just need to install modpacks! I suggest Agrarian Skies 2, because it has a mod called Hardcore Questing Mode, which acts as a tutorial. To find the pack, you’ll want to hit the minecraft tab on the left side of the launcher, then click “Get new modpacks”. There’ll be a search bar there. Also, here are some tips that should make the learning curve a lot nicer (regardless of what modpack you’re playing):USE NEI! You’ll see it when you hit ‘e’ to look in your inventory. If you need to craft something and don’t have the recipe, search up the item, hover over it, and hit ‘r’. There are literally thousands of crafting recipes that you will never be able to memorize. If you don’t see NEI, hit ‘o’ while in the inventory menuIf you have any questions, there’s a much bigger community on Reddit than here on quora. /r/feedthebeast.Inside the ‘mods’ folder in the modpack directory, you’ll find all your mods (.jar files). For most mods, you can just drop them into this folder.Inside the ‘config’ folder in the modpack directory, you’ll find all the configuration files pertaining to each mod. Use these to customize your gameplayHave fun!

Why did the adventure game market decline?

Contrary View:The very success of Myst was the seed of destruction for Adventure Games.  Myst was (at the time) the best selling game of all time.  It was an impressive piece of work but the success had more to do with the evolution of hardware then the game play experience. Myst was 'brag-ware.'  In 1993 PC's were finally getting CD-ROM drives and VGA displays.  Nothing showed off the system better than Myst.  And it was a beautiful game.  One interesting statistic was that many players didn't finish the game. At Activision we had just released "The Return to Zork."  Admittedly unfair puzzles and campy acting, but a lot of work in sophisticated object-to-object interactions, character interactions, and a move to recapture the depth of text adventures.  One example is that any character could be asked to comment on what any other character said, any 'photo' of a location (virtual camera) or any object. But the success of Myst convinced people that the future was more in "clickable art" and cut-scenes than trying to build a "MacGyver like" experience.  The opportunity was to take the DOOM engine and apply that to a rich adventure game, but the feeling was that the audience wanted more 'Myst's.  This was a big argument at Activision and the "deep puzzle" folks lost out in the end.Add to that the large budget to try to match Myst's art volume and quantity and then the delays in trying to match that, and many adventure titles were so late that when they did ship ... the industry had changed.  These titles lost money, and the entire genre was written off.Today I look at Physics Games like "Angry Birds" and wonder if it would have been possible to have puzzles like that in an adventure context.  We may never know.
