Why do seeds never work in Minecraft?

It depends on which edition of the game you are using. If you are using PE, it will generate vastly different seeds than if you use Java Edition. Same with Bedrock Edition (Windows 10, Xbox, Ps4, and PE)It also depends on which verosion of the game you are using. Are you using the latest edition? Are you using 1.8.2? 1.5.2? 1.4.6? All of these versions of minecraft have features that do not exist in earlier versions, and so they can NEVER be the same terrain generation as each other. The seeds will be result in different generation each time. Are you using mods or modpacks? This affect terrain generation, especially when you add new materials, or new biomes to the game. (Biomes O'plenty FTW).Do you have a terrain generation mod? Som mods change the way that the world looks and makes the game more realistic (stupid high mountains, more realistic rivers, etc)Finally, did you type the seed in wrong? Seeds can be positive and negative numbers, or be associated with words. I dont remember if capitals matter or not, but if they do, then that will change the world.RIP 404 challenge :(

Why is my MineCraft seed not the same?

Me and my cousin both created MineCraft worlds with the same seed. Although she came across a fort and a Desert Temple. I cannot even find a Desert and I have searched the entire MineCraft world! Shouldn't it be the same? Also, could anybody give me seeds for 1.5.2 with Desert Pyramids too?

What are some Minecraft 1.5.2 Skyblock seeds?

I doubt there’s a seed for Skyblock exactly as it’s something more manual to set up. Why are you using such an old version of Minecraft? The below technique will likely need a newer version of the game, I’m using the current 1.13.Create a new world in singleplayer (highlighted)Set Game Mode to Creative and open More World OptionsKeep clicking “World Type” until you reach “Superflat”Click “Customize”Click PresetsScroll down, select The Void and click Use PresetClick DoneMake sure Generate Structures is OFF, Allow Cheats is ON, and Bonus Chest is OFF then click DoneSet a world name to whatever you like, make sure Game Mode is set to Creative (you will change it later) and click Create New WorldYou will spawn on a stone platform. Remove most of the platform leaving just a small area. Depending on the difficulty, adjust the platform size to the size of the island you wantThe exact composition of the island is up to you but include at least one tree. Unlike regular survival, you won’t be able to travel away to explore so include sand grass, and stone in order to give the player more options.Mods are also available which can assist in acquiring materials through non-vanilla means.Resources chestRemember to include a chest so the player (you or whoever plays this world) has basic resources, suggested items include:Seeds (wheat and maybe other)Melon sliceLava (necessary for cobblestone generator)Bucket of water (essential)Block of ice or a second bucket of waterPiece of sugarcaneBones or bonemealApple(s)FinallyIf you want to prevent the player from losing items on death, type /gamerule keepInventory true . This can save some frustrationMaking sure you’re on the island, type /gamemode survivalHave fun!Hope that helps. I initially made this as a PowerPoint and copied across.

What are some good seeds for flat land in Minecraft?

A seed that will produce flat land in the initial spawn area will likely create mountains somewhere else. In other words you won't find a "flat seed" - it all depends on where you are in the world. So my recommendation would be to use any seed, it does not matter which one. After creating the world simply enable Creative Mode and fly around until you find a nice flat piece of land that you like. Then use the command /setworldspawn to set the new default spawn area for the server/world.

How big is a Minecraft world?

A Minecraft world grows in size as you explore it with a maximum size of x:±3000000, y:256 and z:±3000000. When you reach the end of a minecraft world (only on x and z axis; the y axis goes forever), you are greeted with a World border - Minecraft Wiki that looks like this: I actually found a way to get out of this border and you can actually walk a bit untill you are suddenly frozen.

In Minecraft, if I plant some seeds and go away do they grow?

Hope it's not too late to answer.Actually, the answer to this question is yes, only if your seeds were planted around the spawn chunck. In Minecraft, only spawn chunck will be loaded all the time, and the area is up to 12x12 chuncks.Also,17x17 chuncks around you will be loaded. So if you want your seeds to grow in every sec,you can put them within 12x12 chuncks (192x192 blocks)around where you spawn in the world.OR you just don't get too far from your seeds,up to 136 blocks. If your seeds are 136 blocks away from you, and they are not within the spawn chunck, they(their chunck, actually) will be unloaded ,and of course won't grow. This rule can also apply to the animal breeding.
