Minecraft Survival Modes Really Reminds Me Of

What is your review of Minecraft (video game)?

★★★★★    Minecraft is a sandbox that may seem terrible because of what the graphics feel like at first, but sometimes that is all it needs to become the amazing game it is. There are so many different things to do, it sometimes feels to me like there will never be a time when I have done everything!What there is to do:Survival Mode (Single Player):monsters to killa hunger baryou need shelter, armor, weaponsredstone traps to help you surviveCreative Mode (Single Player):unlimited resourcesfly modeno monstersno hungeryou can build ANYTHINGPlay Other People's Maps (Single OR Multi-Player):fight bossessolve puzzlesor just battle 1,000 zombies in an arena with the best gearno work for you, just download the map and start playingMinigames (Multiplayer/Single Player)wide variety (Super Smash Mobs (Super Smash Bros.), Minestrike (CS:GO), etc.)you can play with friends on most serversthey're sometimes like playing other people's maps (see above)Mods (I was reminded by Owen O'Brien)can add anything:jetpacksfoodmonsterspetsbossesAnd More!This really makes Minecraft last so long; you can do pretty much anything!If You're Smart* Enough, BUILD A COMPUTER USING REDSTONE!     To finish off my answer, I would just like to say that Minecraft is a game with endless possibilities, and I hope that never changes.*Edit: Now that I think about it, "Smart" isn't the right word. The right words there would be hard working, willing to put in effort, etc. I feel now that anyone can do that, as long as they work hard enough and that they are willing to learn all of the things necessary to create amazing things with redstone, such as a computer.

What should I do in Minecraft?

Build underwater.So many people build above ground - even floating cities - but where’s the fun in that?Make your own Atlantis; underwater, clear domes that look like they’re reinforced, glass tunnels, a tram service that runs you above ground through the ocean.There’s so much to do underwater, and the challenges it presents to deal with all that water (no, don’t use Worldedit to quickly remove that water…)Fun stuff. EDIT: That picture apparently was done using WorldEdit - the tool I couldn’t remember (thanks, Eddy Coale).Found my old MineCraft world save, so here’s what I had done manually:First, the “subway” railcart that goes underwater, diving under the seabed, and coming up in the base:A shot from above the sea, at my underwater base:Underwater, looking at the side:The entrance, using signs to keep the water from flooding in:Inside the main “dome” - never got around to furnishing it or anything, as it was creative mode:The subway entrance, seen from the base:The subway and my sign, heading off to my “mountain base.”Going up the glass tunnel, base on the right:That took me some amount of time, and it took some minor planning - I drew a circle in paint, zoomed way in, so that I could see each pixel, to get an idea of how to create a circle with square blocks (1 pixel). I settled with a 25x25 circle in paint, making a nice pattern that translated to a dome rather well.The most time-consuming part was “draining” the base, as I had to first close it all off in a 25 block high cylinder, then make my dome, then sponge the water out slowly. I started out with the method where you put solid blocks, deleting one at a time, to remove the water…Anyway, it was quite satisfying to build that, even though it has no purpose.
