Missing Ap Scores Online .

Missing AP test score??? How to find???

Don't fret about not getting them just yet. There might have been a little confusion about your paperwork for some reason, especially if you took AP tests the year before (like including your SS number one year and not the next.) On the collegeboard website, it says even though you're suppose to get them early to mid July, it can come as late as August. As of July 1st, you can call (888) 308-0013 to get your grades for an $8 fee as long as you still have your AP number and other information found in the student pack you recieved during testing (the one with all the AP labels) or you can look on the website.

You should probably wait a few more days if you can stand it (I know I couldn't until mine finally came a few days ago). I'm sure they'll come. =)

How do I hide my AP scores?

I took AP courses many moons ago (7 years?) but I hid my AP European History test because I got a 2. I had an AWFUL teacher (she was seriously the worst) and went on to get 4+ on all my other tests so it didn't make sense to report something that didn't exemplify my efforts as a student. I believe we had to pay a small fee (it was $25 then?) to get the score redacted or "withheld." Even then though, I don't think it would be missing from my AP sheet, I believe it would show I took the test and just say "Score Withheld" or something along those lines. Which, in theory, the school could then just assume I didn't do well instead of seeing the physical evidence. I didn't really care that much but it was important to my mom so we chose to "hide" it. I still got into a good school (Go 'Cats) but not sure if this affected things in the grand scheme. There's also an option to totally cancel your test, but I think that's before it's officially scored and you'd basically have to walk out of the test feeling you did pretty terribly and cancel it right away.

I missed the deadline for Ap Exam's? in california?

Your school is who you need to pay. The College Board leaves registration up to all schools. Schools need to register their students and collect all the fees.

Check with your school first thing on Monday and see if they will still order an exam for youl. Offer to pay a late fee.

If it is really too late you should check with other local high schools to see if you can take the exam there.

PS in the future you should not wait until the last day to do things. I imagine your school had a registration period, not just a day :-)

I took an online AP Computer Science Course for the AP Test last year, I got a 1 and canceled my score. What will colleges think?

If you took this AP CS course officially, through a virtual school connected to your high school, the course and the grade will appear on your high school transcript. Usually, high schools require all students taking AP courses take the AP exam. If the course is on your transcript, but the AP exam score is missing, colleges will know that something went wrong with the exam. At selective colleges, any such discrepancy is a red flag for admissions. If you can retake the AP exam after better preparation, it might be worth the effort.If you took this course on your own and it doesn’t appear on your high school record, then nobody has to know about this course at all. No record of the course and exam means nobody will care.

I lied about my AP scores to Columbia University, and yet somehow got admitted. Should I just not send my scores?

As a two time graduate of Columbia with a friend that works in undergraduate admissions, don't say a word about it. Do NOT write a letter... If Columbia rescinds your application, other schools will know why. Admissions departments in the Ivy League communicate with each other, so don't think for a second that the other schools you applied to wouldn't find out. You are already going to be penalized for your actions, since you will be unable to submit your AP scores and receive credit for them lest Columbia finds out you lied.Columbia takes cheating VERY seriously. A classmate of mine was expelled for changing one test answer, because it would change their exam grade from an A- to an A. They apologized very sincerely. They still got the boot.If you've learned your lesson from this, let it go, move on, and don't do it again. Getting expelled isn't worth it. Considering you felt guilty enough to post about it on Quora, you probably do know better now.If you are dealing with feelings of not being a worthy applicant, don't. Columbia rejects thousands of people every year that are more than qualified enough to get in. What they seek to do in the admissions process is to put together a diverse group of people who will learn from each other and grow together. It's more like auditioning for a role in an ensemble cast than just being at the top of the qualified applicants. You've met their criteria for acceptance, but if you don't have anything unique to offer your classmates, you won't get in. You filled a spot for a certain type of person that they were looking for. Your AP scores are of very little worth to Columbia, since they accepted you for reasons other than academic success. Columbia, particularly CC, is notoriously difficult with giving credit for AP classes anyway (there's usually a list of contingencies to receive the credit, like finishing a more advanced class with at least a B, etc.) A lot of people wind up retaking the course regardless, since they find themselves unprepared for the next level class with only an AP course filling the prerequisite.You made a mistake, and you could have faced pretty terrible consequences if you had gotten caught. What you did was wrong, but sacrificing your future isn't going to fix it. Now that you've actually gotten in, just don't do it again. It isn't worth the risk. So long as you do well and keep your GPA out of the gutter, you'll find that it matters very little in the run.

I really need help in ap chem...i have online test tomrow please someone help me........?

pH = pKa + log [CN-]/ [HCN] = 9.40 + log 0.50/ 0.30 = 9.62

pOH = 14 - pH = 14 - 4.38

about the 2nd question I thing that the dissociation of HCN is small compared to the dissociation of HCl

moles HCl = 0.040 x 0.02 = 0.0008
total volume = 0.240 L
[H+]= 0.0008/0.240 =0.0033 M
pH =2.5

Virginia SOL test scores?

Well, it depends on the test. For example, if you missed a question Science SOL, English, and Civics in 2010, your score was still 600. On the other hand, Geometry, for example, getting one wrong could mean a 569.

On the other hand, the question that you may have missed could be one of the 10 field questions on EACH SOL. So if some questions felt awkwardly worded, or different- don't worry- they are probably don't count.

For more information about the 2010 SOL grading scale, visit:
http://www.doe.virginia.gov/testing/sol/released_tests/index.shtml

At the end of each test, after the answer key, there is a grading scale.

Hope this helps...

Code 96 on one of my AP exams?

On my AP French Language and Culture exam, it has Code 96 next to it, meaning my exam score is still being processed. It also says to contact them if my score is not received by September 1st. However, I need my score pretty much NOW because I'm going to college in England and they need my score to make my offer unconditional, so I can apply for loans and a visa (which takes about a month).

I called the college board (the root of all evil), tweeted them (AP Trevor and AP students), the whole 9 yards. I keep getting regurgitated replies of the things it says on the AP website. No one is helping me or genuinely answering my questions. I'm stressed out and fed up with it.

When will I get my score and how long will this take?

:(

University of Oregon application help?

I applied to the University of Oregon on Nov. 13 and I checked my application status today. It says incomplete. There is a green box at the bottom titled requirements and has ACT and transcripts in it. I ordered an additional ACT score for Oregon on November 13th and have not sent in my transcripts yet. Does it say incomplete until they have reviewed my app. or am I missing something? Thanks

How many years of college have you saved by using AP credits?

One, though I gave it back.I graduated with 32 AP credits from 8 tests. The math on that suggests a 3-year bachelor’s program. However, I switched my major from Chem to Education in year 3, so I had to scramble to make up the missing credits. Summer classes and a packed schedule allowed me to finish in 3.5, using the last semester for student teaching.In the end, I got a degree in four years. That said, those AP credits were still super valuable - I got out of a bunch of courses I didn't ever want to take again (I'm looking at you Spanish) and into higher level / honors courses for the ones I wanted more of (Chem / Physics). I also took only one social studies course, thanks to 16 of the 32 being social studies credits (US, World, Gov, Comp Gov). Without those, my change of heart would have cost me at least another semester.Finally, there's the knowledge gained. Whether you skip a semester or a few classes or nothing at all, dollar for dollar you can't beat the AP experience for prepping you for college. I spent something like $600 for those 8 tests, roughly the same as I spent on books in my first semester of college. Do yourself a favor - take some AP tests. Pass or fail, your future self will thank you.
