Mixing Coffee With Cream/milk Bad For Your Health

Can you put coffee creamer in your milk or no?

it's totally safe. my younger cousin and little sister used to ask my grandma to make them "creamer milk" all the time. she'd put a little less than a quarter of a glass of vanilla creamer in with their milk. it was always too sweet for me, i never liked flavored milk. but if you love vanilla milk then you'd like it :)

Can you use coffee creamer and water instead of milk to feed a baby?

I know this is a weird question, but hear me out.

I know you can use coffee creamer and really hot water as a substitute for milk when you are cooking...I do it all the time. Now my question is, can you use that in a bottle for a baby? What exactly is in coffee creamer, is it basically powdered milk or can it only be used as a substitute in cooking?

This is only a one time deal, and I'm just wondering. :)

Is it unhealthy to mix coffee and milk?

There’s nothing inherently unhealthy about mixing milk with your coffee although milk may reduce the availability of coffee’s chlorogenic acids (CGA), a class of antioxidants believed to be part of coffee’s beneficial health effects. The research on coffee and CGA levels is contradictory. One study that looked at levels of CGA and its metabolites in the urine found a reduced level (about a 28% reduction), but another that measured CGA blood concentrations found no significant differences. (Oddly, the use of non-dairy creamer did seem to lower the blood titer.) Both studies were small and had some other limitations. If you drink lots of coffee, the reported reduction in CGAs is likely to be insignificant, if indeed it is real.Incidentally, adding milk to tea may also reduce some of its cardiovascular benefits. Again, the study was small, and this time did not measure compounds in the blood or urine, but rather vascular function. Since soy milk had the same effect, the researchers speculated that it was the proteins in dairy or soy that were binding to the beneficial antioxidants in tea, making them less bioavailable. (While this study did not look at non-dairy creamer, such products contain sodium caseinate, drived from milk protein.)Still, if you like milk in your coffee or tea, there is no evidence that it is harmful, though perhaps less beneficial that drinking it “straight.”

Is cold coffee bad for health?

Actually, cold coffee is typically better for you. It lowers the general acidity of coffee. Acidity stains your teeth and causes indigestion. Though, the best coffee for you in cold brewed coffee because it lowers the acidity of your coffee by leaps and bounds. Cold Brew is a newer trend that changes the way you make the coffee. Instead of using hot water, you can use room temperature or cold water. This becomes a little longer of a process…about 12–24 hours longer! But I think the end result is worth it, it tastes smoother and doesn’t have that bitter after taste. That bitter after taste is created because the hot water releases the acids from the grinds into the coffee and mixes in with your drink. I also don’t use sugar if I’m drinking Cold Brew because it tastes better, so that’s healthier for me!Source: Why is Cold Brew Coffee Better?OverviewCold Coffee is healthier because it has less acids that affect your teeth, stomach lining and more.

Are coffee creamers bad for you?

The Scoop on Non-Dairy Creamers

As to non-dairy creamers: most are nothing BUT chemicals and “food derivatives.” The primary ingredients are vegetable-based (hydrogenated) oils, sodium compounds, and artificial color and flavor. These are hazerdous to your health and are SUPER secret sabateurs to your weight loss efforts.

If you MUST have your coffe or tea “light,” there is an alternative: use Rice Dream (or similar rice-based “milk” substitutes from your local supermarket or health food store) with carbohydrate meals, or just use milk in your coffee with protein meals.

As a rule to live by - stick with REAL FOOD. There is no way to "cheat" on this diet. Stick with the real deal. ANYTHING artificial will hinder your weight loss and cause you nothing but a big fat frustration headache. Although Judy underplayed the importance of health foods in her original book, there have been thousands (if not hudreds of thousands) of fake foods, chemicals, and additivies that are on the shelves today that were not there even 10 years ago. Because of this, taking care of yourself and eating REAL FOOD is more important today than ever before

Some people say that the mix of milk and coffee is toxic at a molecular level. Is that true?

This is BS.Caffeine is toxic to insects, that is why tea and coffee plants evolved to produce it in the first place, a large quantity is toxic to humans as well.Death by Caffeine Calculator140 espresso shots in 10 hours should just about see the average person pushing up daisies.I am not aware of anything in milk that fits the same pattern, however, too much water can also be fatal and there is lots of water in your daily cuppa.P.S.The human LD50 of caffeine is 150 to 200 milligrams per kilogram.Caffeine

Can I use heavy cream in coffee?

Short answer…YES.Typically you’ll hear the term breve when adding half-and-half to coffee/espresso; and the term creme when adding heavy cream. With heavy cream…a little goes a long way. It’s very rich—especially once steamed. You can certainly use a touch of heavy cream in your cold brew or iced coffee. Especially good in these hot summer months.A double or quad shot of espresso takes on an almost chocolate flavor when adding cold or steamed cream. And, of course, you can use heavy cream in your morning coffee. You may have to experiment to find that right mix.

Is coffee mixed with protein, honey and organic milk healthy for me?

Lets break this down:Coffee: a great drink. Buy organic, fair trade, dark roast coffee, this is good. Caffiene can be overused by some, so keep your adrenals in check, if you get burned out, you should back off. This is a hard thing to monitor for most folks so consider keeping your caffiene intake low on average. Decaf products for substitute are not as healthy. (look up acrylamide)Honey: excellent food if used in moderation. added to your hot drink, it will denature? some of the benefits, but still good. Added while drink is just warm, keeps many things active. (some believe raw honey is better than heated, but it's unclear). Honey contains fructose, but not too much. excessive fructose can lead to fat gain. better than sugar though for many reasons. organic milk: lets break this down. are we talking grass fed, raw, organic milk that you sourced locally? you can read the info on milk. I would stay FAR FAR away from UHT milk, or ultra pasteurized milk. Raw is best. Read up on this if you care. If not, i would switch to low temp pasteurized or go to raw or past. cream. The fat will lower the GI response to the honey, it has minimal carbs in it, and contains great healthy fats. Keep you full longer. And the big one, Protein. What is protein to you? grass fed whey? the debates on protein supplements goes on and on. if you're making yourself a smoothie, essentially with milk, protein power (a double up on protein really) and coffee, go for it. but if you want coffee, DON'T mess it up with this. good lord.  ick. you can go read the reports on if isolated protein is good for you. be aware that highly refined protein can somewhat affect blood sugar and because it's so highly refined, I would only take it near a workout unless you get a concentrated protein that is less refined/digested for you. that would be a more acceptable 'meal' replacement.there you go.

Eating Instant Coffee Mix?

I sometimes go a little crazy and eat some instant coffee mix (with creamer and sugar already in there), like those kids with pixie sticks. Although i know it's not healthy, it won't kill me right? I can only handle like a couple teaspoonfuls.

Does coffee made from milk powder cause any negative health effects?

Adding milk to coffee will add few extra calories. There are lot of sources who claim that powdered milk is extremely bad for you because it contains oxidized cholesterol, which is supposedly the most dangerous type of cholesterol. Its better to drink black coffee(no cream no sugar), a bit of sugar free powder and cinnamon can be added to for taste.
