Mlp Question Do All Unicorns Have A Pet Baby Dragon

If unicorns exist, what are the implications?

Sadly, the discovery of the unicorn will be it's demise. Such a creature, coveted in myth and legend will be become the target of thieves and poachers who will kill it for illegal trade of it's body parts. The most valuable of which will be it's horn. The implications of it being recorded as a creature which traditionally has magical powers mean, as well as it being a novelty, it will hunted by many wishing to sell parts of it for alternative medicine. Another animal suffering similarly the Rhinocerous, it's horn being extremely valuable on the black market and believed to have healing powers in certain treatments. Only a few corners of the world have not been explored by humanity. If there Unicorn were to be discovered it is likely to be in an area of little human development. Unfortunately these areas usually lie in LEDCs. Countries where poaching is more likely to occur as people have more necessity to find money. Finally, undoubtlessly the Unicorn is not likely to be found in abundance so it's relative rarity will attract it's hunters. In order to protect the Unicorn species, it could be said we need to develop a protection agency for it. Hopefully, if Unicorns present themselves to us, we love in harmony alongside them. Personally, for their own safety, I think they should keep themselves hidden.

If unicorns were real, what would they eat?

Unicorns are herbivorous and are just the magical relative of the horse. They can eat what a horse eats like hay and oats as their normal meal. To get their full and magical nutrients they must eat powerful and exotic species of flora. They also do not need to drink water, as they water sprites (A Unicorn's magical ability is to purify water along with a number of other magical powers). They prefer flowers that live near waterfalls, such as the rare and magical Neptune's Frog Trap (in which they eat the flower buds, not the whole plant itself). If your Unicorn is part Pegasi on the otherhand, they are Air sprites and will eat tree-top fruits, such as the rare and mysterious fruit of the Giant Tiger-Striped Dream Oak of Madagascar (Otherwise known as a Lux Fruit because of the bright and shiny diamond-like meat inside). Half Pegasi Unicorns DO need to drink water, keep that in mind. Keeping a salt-lick for your Unicorn is very important too.

What is the term for baby dragon?

In some books they're called Wyrlyings, in others Sucklyings. But I think it would be better (if you're writting a book) for you to come up with your own ^__^ originality is the best thing ever! However, if you're looking for a word staring with "D" I would try Draco. Take you pick and Merry Christmas.

MLP Question: Do All Unicorns Have A Pet Baby Dragon?

To my best knowledge, that's never been established in the show. Edit: And there you go. Neither Rarity or Fluttershy had heard of such a thing in Episode 1 of Season 1, I sorta stand corrected. It's not been confirmed--though the egg-hatching test seems to be a common sort of thing for that Advanced School, it may not be what it seems.

In terms of my own fan-conjecture, I've always assumed the "hatch the dragon's egg" test Twilight did was supposed to be a trick test, and impossible. Meaning, they set up a _fossil_ of a dragon's egg, make it look like a living egg superficially, and the _test_ then becomes about, "Does this rookie unicorn have the _good sense_ to look at the egg with her horn first and see it's a rock? Or is she going to waste all of her power trying to hatch a dead fossil that's been confirmed for dead?"

It would make sense--why would Celestia, a monarch of the commonwealth of Equestria, show up for a random unicorn's entrance exam if it was an ordinary sort of test? She'd show up if somepony ended up _doing the impossible_ and hatching the egg (meaning: resurrecting it) without even checking it first.

But of course, no one at DHX Media is going to confirm or deny that either. *lol* I know. :)

Point is, if you want to write your fiction such that dragon pets of unicorns are a common thing, go ahead and do that. You could put the limitation on it that only students of that school have dragons--or that only unicorns in Canterlot, under royal watch, are allowed them (which would explain why Trixie doesn't have a dragon).

Odds are the cartoon will just prove us all wrong anyway. They rather have to, because lawyers.

Is Charlie the unicorn appropriate for kids?

Charlie the unicorn is harmless! Its just a very random adventures a unicorn has... one thing though at the end of the 1st one charlie gets his kidney stolen but that woulndt influence my choice if my child watched it lol. Its just a very silly video. You need to watch it first to decide if they should see it or be asking thier parents

Is a mythological dragon an animal?

They are certainly depicted as animal-like in general. In western mythos, they are referred to as ‘beasts’ and tend to have lizardly qualities, whether winged or no, and sometimes they have a hybrid appearance; as though part bird, fish, or mammal. There are also the sea serpents (known by other names in various myths). These could easily be reptiles, fish, or amphibians. Or not.Based on this appearance, one would expect them to be animals, though there’s nothing stopping them being cousins of the Ents, or the most impressive fungus you've ever seen.In eastern depictions, they are often accepted as spirits or even gods. Whether or not these count as animals, I cannot answer at this time. These dragons can often take different forms, but their true ‘dragon’ look is, again, vaguely reptilian, sometimes with lion-like features. Legs may or may not be included. In other cultures too, there are dragon-like beings. And again, they usually look like some sort of animal, usually a reptile. One of my favourites is Quetzalcoatl of Aztec lore: the feathered, flying serpent. He was a god.Another fave is the Midgard Sperpent, Jörmungandr, of Norse mythology. He was the child of Loki and a giantess. So… maybe half animal, if we assume giants count as such. And that gods don’t.On that note, there’s nothing to say dragons of any legend may be otherworldly, and therefore unclassifiable within the existing Earth model. That’s your most likely answer, I think. This was me taking a long time to say; I have no idea.Maybe Draco Silvas could tell us, being a dragon himself.
