Look, you are being wise. It is estimated that up to 25% of the children born to married couples are not actually the offspring of the husband. Women have been happy to scream about what they want, tell you how you are being mean or abusive or untrusting, unloving and so on when you do not want to go along with their wants, even if their wants offend or hurt you. So, reverse it and tell her that if she loved you and had nothing to be concerned about, this should not be any problem at all. Stand up for yourself. If the wife is mad, let her be. If she stays silent, let her. Men too often back down or give in, when they absolutely should not do so. To be honest about it, simply as a matter of protocol, I think that every man should insist upon a paternity test as soon as the child is born. By the way. Just read the comments you got from women and then tell me that they are not manipulative, self serving creators. Trust me, I bet at least one of those women who said you are wrong, knows for a fact that she has been passing a kid off to her husband and it is not his. And does she feel guilty about it or feel she is wrong? Of course not. That is just how women are. And when a man wants to stand up for himself and his rights and protect his interests, see how the females fangs and nails come out?
Do cars have to pass MOT's in America?
Javier has the right answer for you. For our American friends: an MOT is an annual safety and emissions inspection that all vehicles over three years old have to go through in GB. If the vehicle doesn't pass an MOT then you simply cannot drive it (until the defects have been rectified). I work for the DfT and as far as I am aware there isn't one all encompassing annual vehicle safety check in the States although some states do have their own laws when it comes to this. To be honest the vast majority of countries in the world don't have an MOT-like inspection requirement (which is crazy when you think about it) and the MOT (GB), ITV (Spain) etc. are mostly a European thing (although many countries are now adopting test requirements). Britain has some of the strictest driving rules in the world. Hope that helps.

Hi I'm 16 I went to the E.R today. Cause I had twisted an ovary. They had to put this tube on my vagina ( it was like ultra sound ) My mom got all scared & started arguing with the doctors she kept yelling "she hasn't had sex yet !" I felt really bad cause I'm not a virgin & what the doctors were doing was important in order to see if i hadn't damage anything else. I gotta admit it was very uncomfortable. She later started crying saying that the tube had taken my virginity. I don't wanna tell her cause she's one of those moms that will say "See I told you so, that's all that boy wanted. I'm so disappointed in you !" & the thing is the guy l lost it to had also lost it to me too. But he left to collage & the reality is I think that's all he wanted, we were together for almost 2 years but we left in bad terms. So I felt bad & decided I needed to tell her just when I was about tell her, the doctors come in the room & tell me that my ovaries may die. I just cried it was hard news for me. Not being able to have kids. But the point is my mom is hurt cause she thinks I lost my virginity to a tube. Im hurt cause I may not have kids when I grow up. But I'm also concern that's she thinks the doctors took my virginity. I'm just so afraid of her judgement & her reaction but i'm also afraid she might take this doctors/virginity to another level. Help ? How do I break the old news to her about me ? I'm going through alot.
Can I drive my sisters car without being on insurance?
Yes. You are a family member living in the same household as her. As long as you are permissive user, you can drive her car and the insurance company should pay for damages caused by you in an accident. AFTER the accident, they may ask: Why you were driving her car? Why you were not listed on the policy? How often do you use her car? Do you have your own insurance? If you are going to be a regular driver, you should be listed on her policy. You may run into trouble because you "just got your license back". You don't say why you lost it. That will be another question she will be asked if you are in an accident in her car.
Can you fail grade 8?
All you can really do this time is talk to you're principle. Tell him the tutors are not enough for you, and you need help ASAP. Trust me, it's easier to pass a grade than to fail it, believe me. (Remember that quot.) ;) What You can also do is plan ahead, use you're planner more wisely, do more homework. The day when it's the lessons test of the chapter, repeat ALL you're homework, on one day. That's what I do, it helps so that the next day when the test is up, you're mind is fresh. You can not only do this for math, try to do it for science, reading, language arts. Also, read lots of books, they help too. It's all in the mind, and trust me, the only way to actually pass is by speaking up. ;) You'll be fine.
