All in one computer turn off monitor?
hiya i need help just wondering how do i turn the display off for my computer but still my computer can run tasks?I bot on a online game so I need programs to continue working but i need the display to be off so i can sleep in peace lol.Its a all in one computer so i dont have a button to just turn off monitor thks its a hp

Why do you want to turn it off? If it is for bathing reasons then just detach the leads and reattach them before your get dressed. If for any other reasons, then remember that you are wearing the monitor for a reason and turning it off and on periodically will interfere with the taping.
Monitor Turns off at Game - Counter Strike?
I've got an ATI Radeon 3500HD and i bought Counter Strike off steam... When i attempt to turn it on my screen goes black then after a couple of second turns grey, and writing comes up saying No Signal and the power button on my monitor turns orange... To get back onto my desktop i must blindly ALT + F4... to turn the game off, But why does it turn off in the first place? and how may i prevent this so it lets me play?

I have NEC MultiSync 75 CRT monitor, and for the past two days, whenever I leave the computer be, and leave the monitor off, and it happens sometimes while I use it, the monitor will flash black at times, but more so make a click noise and turn off, and then immediately on again every 5 minutes or so. It's a huge annoyance and I have no idea what could be causing this. Maybe the little golden spikes at the back are bent to the side a little, but I haven't gotten at the back of it yet. It's a fairly new monitor. Mint condition. Only two years old or so.
