GHD Straightener worth it?
I have really curly/thick hair and when I want to straighten my hair I use a cheap straightener that I got from target. (Remington Wet-to-Straight). I don't like the finish it leaves on my hair...it makes it look dry-er and less shiny. I've read SO many reviews online about the GHD straightener. Most of them were good and some were bad. Is it really worth it for $300? And there's also many different models of it (ghd classic, ghd professional) which one is the best?

Is it still safe to use my ghd straightener?
I got my ghd in 2008. past few times i have been using it, it keeps making this weird crackling noise that seems to be coming from the little wire/cable thingo. it also keeps beeping more than usual n i find that its been getting hotter than usual. is it still safe to use? do you think it could be repaired or is it time to go..

My GHD Straighteners are beeping really fast?
Hi, if you have had them less than two years you can get them repaired by GHD as long as you have registered them. If you have not got the original receipt a bank statment is normally OK if you paid by card. If you do need some new ones try www.edwardjamesltd.co.uk The std GHD MK4 are just £92.00. There are some people offering to repair these straighteners but keep in mind that you will have to pay for this and still have a pair of straighteners that contain older parts and it could go wrong again plus you won't get a guarantee.
Do ghd straighteners turn off if left on for a while?
So I just left home for work and I can't remember if I left my straightener on its one of those ghd mini straighteners where the plates are smaller than a normal ghd. Will it turn off automatically after a while if the switch on it is on but the PowerPoint is still turned on ?
