Are college students more mature than high school students?
On the average, they are four years older, so of course they are somewhat more mature. I've never had a student start a fight in one of my classes, certainly, and they almost never argue with me. I'm afraid, though, that there are usually a few who still want to play the class clown and interrupt the class.
Am i mentally bothered?
Okay, im a highschool student, and i just feel like im so differernt from everyone , like the way i think about things. just want to draw it out for you: I could say i have alot of friends, and im fairly pretty, But everything about highschool teens bother me. they seem so superficial and annoying. Not just that but i Always think im smarter than everyone. Im deffinetly not mean. But i just feel that everyone my age is so unexperienced and stupid. But then at the same time i am a little self consious . but it does not show drasticly. I keep a good composure and i dont really express these thoughts. How can i get myself to stop thinking so negatively? sometimes i think i am mentally sick, I also feel like i am dreaming while awake, i just think of how false and stupid society is and i get like this out of body feeling. idk i guess im just wanting to know, is this normal that i think like this. P.S. keep in mind. it probly sounds worse than it does. Im just saying the weird things about myself not pointing out the normal things :D
I'm more mature (maybe too mature) than my high school friends?
I'm in 11th grade in HS and I've always been very mature for my age. I'm actually only 15 while most people in my grade are already 16 (I have a late birthday). I don't want to sound cocky but I've just always been more mature in all aspects- intellectually emotionally, mentally and socially and just in general. I guess that's a good thing but the problem is I think it's the reason why I down connect very well to friends my age. I have friends who are in college and I get a long very well with young adults. I actually even love children as well. But people my age are suddenly just not compatible with me because I feel they are so immature and although I get a long with them and don't have any issues with them, we just don't connect very well and I wouldn't consider any of them really good friends. Any advice?? Idk what to do about it? Does it really matter if I don't have many good friends in HS? Thank you

I would say that in general people are more mature in college, but then you still have those individuals that will never grow up.
Do women really mature faster then men mentally?
Hey, I got a question for you women. Why do you all keep saying "girls like older guys because girls mature faster than boys mentally?" that is not true at all! And I think it is a very sexist statement. Women do mature faster than boys physically there is Scientific evidence to back that up. But , there is no research or study that validates women mature faster then men mentally. I just don't like how a bunch of bitter women on here just throw that crock around, and young impressionable girls on here will believe that. I think maybe majority of women think they are more mature than guys because dumb immature guys happen to catch the most attention. Women don't pay attention to the quite well mannered boy in high school who sits down and excels in academics , they pay their attention to the loud tall meat head football player who crushes beer cans on his head, and then they make a sweeping generalization off of that idiot, while the smarter mature guys get ignored. Edit: If you have a credible link of a scientific study that proves women mature faster than women then send it to me I would like to read it. I have a few that prove women and men mature mentally at the same time but just have different outlooks on life.
