How would you motivate someone to do his or her homework?
External motivation is for children. Adults should not be motivated. Teaching adults is very different from teaching children.Adults already have their own goals and motivations. As long as you can convince them that the work they will do will be aligned with their own goals and motivations, they will do it.You can convince them of this, by clearly predicting the results, the amount of work needed to be invested and the purpose behind the homework.In case they don't do the work, assume that they have already learnt it and move on. Make it known to them that there need not be any hesitation when they need help or clarifications. Also make it known that if a work is too difficult, they must communicate it to you, so that you can address it. Doing this individually is better than informing the class as a whole.Remember that the person you are teaching is an adult. They have the responsibility to learn, and they may use whatever tools they wish, your homework being one of them. The responsibility is not yours alone. Discussing the work you will give them, before you give it, also helps.

Yes, this is absolutely true.One needs to trust his own abilities and work accordingly. Focus on your strengths and move ahead.One need not always have to find out his weaknesses and try to correct them, if this was the case then the great businessman like Dhirubhau Ambani would not have became a great business man. He was aware of his strengths and he focused on that only, for rest of the things he hired people.You must have watched the movie “Guru” right? His father was not really agree with his decision but he took the right decision because he was quite aware of his abilities. And the result is we all know.So, yes there are people around us, who support us and there are people who demotivate us too, but it's our decision and our choice is whether to give up or keep on fighting with our own self to be better. People are motivated in life, because they want to be better. Better than they are or better than someone else. However, say, everyone is equal in utopian world, what would motivate people in that way?
This is my picture right now - It is 3am in Thailand. The whole world right now is sleeping but I choose to wake up. Because I know right now somewhere out there in the world - the top 1% of the world has also woken up - to study, to learn, to work hard towards their goals in life. So then - how can I sleep hugging my wife? Hugging my wife is not going to help me achieve greatness in life now would it?And at the age of 40 - being happily married with a successful career - I don’t have to do this. But I choose to do it. Everyone has 24 hours a day. Everyone has 2 hands, 2 legs and 1 body. How can I say im motivated by money in a CV??
Do NOT say that you are motivated by money. Say that you are driven by incentives or are motivated by a challenge/ set goal. Even if they say that it's one of the criteria, if you put that in there, it will just seem like you're echoing what they want to hear. And they will question that. As a side note, I'm not sure I would even put that in a CV. That seems to me more like a cover letter sort of statement. That's the place where you get to put a personality to your list of achievements and qualifications. If you have that option, I would add a cover letter, and address it there. Best of luck!
How to motivate a laid back person?
Most who have a great desire to have something often times develope immediately a energy of motivation in the direction to acquire that item.So, it takes desire,motivation,creativity,mental ability,and physical ability to work toward getting what that person wants.Stop doing for them and they will be forced to get up and whine about every thing until they finally figure out "HEY IT`S UP TO ME"to get them moving.
I lost motivation to draw when people are better then me?
Yes, I know, It is a stupid thing to do but, i just cant help it. I really enjoy drawing and i really want to get better. But the problem is whenever i sit down and start to draw, i see other peoples drawings that are ALOT better then mine and i start getting depressed over it and feel like i will never be able to draw like them. It usually gets to the point where i end up just erasing my work and not drawing again for awhile. Sometimes ill see a good drawing and get motivated from it, but i end up not drawing as good as the picture that motivated me and i get upset over it and quit/erase the picture. I don't know... I know it is stupid and i am probably a idiot for getting depressed about it, but im just losing my motivation to draw now. I know there will always be somebody better out there then you, but i just don't feel like drawing not because of it. Any tips?
I need motivation on why to do good in school?
i mean, its only the rest of your life on your shoulders. lol. okay now that we have gotten that out of the way. motivation is something that comes from within. when i was in school i would work my *** off at track practice but in class i would put my head down and copy all my work off someone else. but i eventually started doing better in school and doing my own work. There is no one on here, that will be able to motivate you. that is something you do yourself. many kids start to slack off in college, because they didn have their parents around. but one thing my coach told me was that, whatever you are doing, you should always do your best. and that was the reason i started doing good in school. as much work as i put into running, i put into studying. and i thought i was stupid, turns out im pretty damn smart! To study: Every teacher gives you notes right? well look over those notes everyday. There is this thing with memory, when you look at your notes once, it stays in your temporary memory, if you read your notes atleast once every 24 hours, for 3 days the information goes into your permanent memory. this is how people study for test. before knowing this, i used to study by memorization. but actually trying to understand what you are reading is much better. so dont only read over your notes, try to understand what you are reading everytime.
