Motorola Droid First Droid Google Play Store Problems

How do I stop pending downloads in the Google Play Store?

First pending download means that the store is waiting for a better internet connection or a stronger connection to your Wifi or cellular data ( sometimes not always the case). Here is what you can do on your phone:Go to Settings > Applications* > System Apps^~ > Google Play Store > Force Stop.Try downloading the app again. If it didn't work try the same steps but this time clear data and cache of the app.If the steps above didn't work go to Google Help and visit this link Play Store won't load or download apps to try and troubleshoot your problem.you can also contact Google Support and talk to a representative that I am sure could help: https://support.google.com/googl... (select apps and games then select others)I hope this helped!Have a nice day or night!!———————————————————————*some times called Apps on stock android.^in some cases the Google Play Store will appear normally without that option enabled.~Android 5.0 lollipop and above, select it from the drop down menu.

Why do all my apps in the Google Play Store say “download pending”?

Oh! I understand what’s the problem. I’ve been through this. It can get really frustrating at times. As per this link 'Download Pending...'? Here are 3 different fixes to get rid of it follow these steps:First of all, open up the Google Play StoreLocate the ‘hamburger’ icon on the top left. Tap on it.Then tap on ‘My apps & games’. This is a section where you can see all the apps for which an update is available. See if there is an app which is still in the process of ‘updating’. If you find anything as such then hit ‘STOP’ written inside a green box in CAPITAL letters. All the ongoing updates will stop. After that go on try to download the app which you want to. Most probably your download will begin. In case it doesn’t, head to the next point.Go to settings and then tap on apps.Find Google Play Store and tap on it.You’ll see ‘App info’ of Google Play Store.Tap on Storage and then tap on ‘Clear Data’(Depending on your Android version, you might find ‘Clear Data’ right in the app info. So you don’t need to Tap on Storage)That’s it.Go ahead and download your app. It will begin. If the above method didn’t work then please follow this link: 'Download Pending...'? Here are 3 different fixes to get rid of it which is also the source of this answer.Cheers

I am unable to add a Google account on my Android phone. What should I do?

Inability to add a Google account to Android could be due to a number of reasons. Most common ones and solutions are -1. Problems with existing cache /app data - As someone suggested, this can be solved by going to Settings

My Android can't download anything from the browser and Play store. It only shows the download line moving. It doesn't show the progress of downloading. Are there any solutions to this?

Well, instead of asking to do much of a technical thing, which obviously won't help!I have the correct resolution to this issue, but let me tell you why this issue actually occurs and where actually the problem is.The problem is with the Application Preferences and thus clearing the cache or changing the host won't work in this case. Neither will the download of external download manager work. Here are the simple steps for resolving this issue:Open settings > apps.Go to all apps.On the top right, click on the three dots and select reset app preference. After doing this, please restart the device and check.I was able to resolve this issue on 3 different Android devices successfully.Hope so this will work for you all as well.

Error 492 on android?

I keep getting "could not be downloaded due to an error (492)". I've tried to clear the cache and everything but nothing has worked. I've also noticed something that says "android.process.acore has stopped"

Why is this happening when I just got this phone about 2 months ago????
