Motown Research Paper Help

Motown research paper help?

Hi everyone! I'm a senior doing a really cool research paper on Motown for extra credit. It's due Tuesday and I don't want to let a lot of time fly and get behind because I'm stuck.
I need to come up with 11 sub-questions. I need 11 sources to cite for my paper's evidence. I really am struggling with this. If you all could help me come up with at least 5, it would be really helpful!
I'm literally stuck. I only have 1 sub-question so far and it's

1. What do recording artists say about Motown?
only 10 more to go. :-(

Also, if you guys could give me a really simple breakdown that explains what sub topics are?

Extended Essay Help? Ideas for music.. ?

Hi Nikki, lucky you are to have such an inspiring topic as music=)
Sample research questions on gothic rock:
1) Alice Cooper as "the true ungodly godfather of Goth"
2) Literary romanticism in the lyrics of The Doors
3) The influence of gothic subculture on students’ self-perception
Sample research questions on witch house (be careful if you choose any of these, because you may have difficulties finding materials)
1) The history of the term ‘witch house’ (originated as a joke)
2) Witch house as a unique combination of different genres
3) Triangles and crosses in the artist and track names – keeping witch house underground and increasing the audience’s interest
I hope these topics will help you. By the way, if you by any chance still have difficulties with this paper, you may ask for help from these guys http://custom-writing.org/FAQ They always helped me out of trouble with my music papers.
Good luck, Nikki!

What were some positive qualities about Michael Jackson?

Well first are the obvious -
He was an incredible singer and dancer (biggest selling album, biggest selling music video etc)
He was a humanitarian - he gave millions of dollars to charities as well as setting up his own (heal the world foundation)
He was an influence to many current artists (Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake etc)
He paid for many children to have life saving surgery

There's loads! I would suggest looking of wikipedia for more :)

Why was Michael Jackson called the King of Pop?

Michael Jackson was first called King of Pop by Elizabeth Taylor when she presented him with an award in 1989 and it kind of stuck. In my opinion, deservedly as his talent was simply unmatched and his achievements are unequaled by any other artist. Michael Jackson revolutionized music, popularized MTV, resurrected the music industry, was the top selling artist for at least 3 decades, he influenced every single pop artist after him: Usher, Britney Spears, Akon, Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Justin Bieber. When asked about the nickname King of Pop he said he considered it a great honour and he would have liked to be remembered as such long after he was gone. During an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 1993 Oprah clarified that she was not under any contractual agreement to call him “ King of Pop” as a condition to take the interview. He also during that interview spoke publicly about his skin condition Vitiligo, which turned his skin white, the abuse he experienced as a child at his father ‘s hands and he publicly admitted his huge crush on Diana Ross. He refused however to answer whether he was a virgin or not. “ I am a gentleman” he said. However, he was crowned an actual king in the Ivory coast in 1992. When he arrived to Gabon 125000 people arrived to greet him. They held a special memorial service for him upon his death in 2009.
