What was inside the fed-ex package in the "Cast Away" movie?
I found this for you after quite a bit of looking: There was a bonus feature on the Cast Away DVD that was a bit of a convention with the creators of the movie... when asked what was in the unopened box they said it was a satellite Phone capable of working even on a deserted island with a fully charged battery. They were sort of joking but their point was it doesn't matter, that package got him through, it was special to him and important enough that he wished to delivery it (better late than never).
Is there an alternative ending for the Movie Castaway (Tom Hanks)?
No I have looked at all of the bonus material and there isn't. At least not on the DVD.
CAST AWAY movie question....... ANYBODY KNOW?????
My friends and I had this huge talk about the movie CAST AWAY. They said that he was stranded for a few months or so, and came back and found out his girlfriend was married to someone else. I said that that was ridiculous. It couldn't have been a few months. She wouldn't move on THAT QUICKLY. So I think he was stranded for YEARS. Anybody know how long he was stranded for??

no it never does. haha i thought it would be hilarious if it showed it and it ended up being camping supplies like a lighter and tent.
