Movie Is A Scary One Have No Clue But There All I Know About It

Joke in scary movie 4?

I didn't see the movie, but I guess they figured that since Belgium was a small country without the A-bomb they could insult your people with impunity. It's no fun to be the butt of a joke, but try to let it slide off your back... The Polish people have been getting raked over in America for years - probably worse than the French treat you guys. And the French take the brunt of the jokes here too - about not bathing and being rude. Don't think I've ever heard a bad joke about your country!

What made the movie Carrie so scary?

it was a great horror movie that wasn't necessarily scary. it's in the horror genre because she uses supernatural powers to slaughter the entire class. there isn't another genre that covers that. the adrenaline rush horror movie is only one type of horror movie. there are others.

carrie wasn't even an adrenaline rush horror in the 70s. but it was, and is, still a great movie that leaves you horrified by the ending, even if you're not scared.

Is the movie Hereditary scary?

Fear is subjective. With that being said, I’d say Hereditary is far more disturbing than it is scary. There’s a lot of themes and disturbing imagery that the film has, ranging from the decaying head of an adolescent to the theme of parents desiring to harm their children and no one in that situation has the power to prevent it.To some people, that might be scary or terrifying. Not to me.Even though I was glued to my seat when I saw Hereditary in theaters, its content isn’t something that I personally find scary. For me, I’m fucking terrified of strangers watching someone from across the street or down the road. It’s even worse if one were to encounter that same stranger later in the night trying to murder them, with no possible way to bargain with the killer, to reason with it.Monsters that feel no pity or remorse or fear. They absolutely will not stop, ever, until their target is dead. That’s the kind of horror that scares the shit out of me.The horror of Hereditary is somewhat of a mix of the films Rosemary’s Baby, The Shining, and Ordinary People; a drama where the idea of being responsible for the death of a loved one is a terrifying concept to ever think about.Again, if you find that concept to be scary, kudos to you.But for me, as someone who loves Hereditary as a movie and as a piece of art, I don’t find that scary. It makes for a great dramatic story, but it’s not the most terrifying thing out there.

What is the best horror movie with a sci-fi theme?

Oh, now wait few minutes for the answers like “Alien” and 20-year-old-stuff. Everybody knows it already, come on! Let me mention 2 movies that nobody knows and are both genuine and exceptional in how they approach the genre.“Spring” & “Resolution”. Both by Justin Benson and Aaron Scott Moorhead. Both are incredibly original and deconstruct both sci-fi and horror genres.Few words about “Resolution”.This movie approaches horror and mystery in its own way. Apparently, it plays by the classic rules. But the more you watch, the more you get sucked in, because at a certain point you understand that this movie follows only its own rules. “Resolution” tries to refresh the old horror genre and succeeds, being both a great story and a contemplation about the horror, cinema and itself as well. It is not pretentious though, but fun to watch, thrilling, tense and spectacular – even if you don’t care that much about it’s meditation about the genre. It’s full of weird people here. Hostile native Indians, UFO researchers, junkies, bums… Not much gore, but there is no need for it – most characters already look strange enough. ”Resolution”has it’s own great atmosphere and has lots of classic things you would expect from a horror movie, though it blends them in the story in a different way. So till the very end you have no clue of what is actually happening. A great example of an indie sci-fi film with horror spirit.Few words about “Spring”.Well, Guillermo del Toro said that’s one of the best horror movies of the last decade, but let me add my take on it.The light, the nature, various life forms, the feel, the architecture and the spirit of the place blend organically with the story. There is some kind of sense of doom here. Some scenes of the movie were not even programmed, but were a pure luck, like, for example, a couple of dead birds. Benson and Moor, it seems, are keeping a secret about shooting something that may sound like a cliche on paper but turns out to be genuine and original. Like ”Resolution”, ”Spring” flows so naturally…It made my faith in independent cinema stronger than ever. It is a heartfelt, layered and genuine love horror capable of saying lots of things. Surely one of the most refreshing and picturesque stories in many years, ”Spring” actually makes you feel like you are right in the middle of an upcoming spring blossom.

What Rated-R movie is actually good for a mature child to watch?

One of my happiest memories growing up with my father was his choice in movies; from a young age I was introduced to a number of scary classics (Alien, The Shining) and action classics (The Road Warrior, Conan the Barbarian). However, the choice I most highly recommend is for those who are not fans of such fare. No… the choice I most highly recommend is that very film that plays (edited, of course), on “family network” channels. That film being… Blazing Saddles. The reason being, much of the humor in this film is on their level. Lots of pure slapstick; lots of pure silly anarchy; lots of live “Looney Tunes” type of humor. (“Candygram for Mongo.” “Mongo like candy.”)There’s also a very strong anti-racism message in the film; it’s important to remind kids of our recent history, about the instilled bigotry that existed in this country for many years. This film has a way of demonstrating the inanity of thinking one race being superior to another.Yes, there’s a bit of bad language in the film (including the dreaded “n” word). But the language is there to demonstrate that this is a word to NOT repeat. The most quotable lines tend to skirt around this word. What did you expect? "Welcome, sonny"? "Make yourself at home"? "Marry my daughter"? You've got to remember that these are just simple farmers. These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons.
