When I took the AP Calculus BC multiple choice section, one important strategy is knowing why they picked those wrong choices up there.For instance,What is the mean of 5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 8?A) 5.5 B) 5C) 5.833 D) 28.335.5 is wrong - it's the median. 5 is the mode. 28.33 happens when you don't control your grouping symbols in the calculator.  This helps you see the concepts better. For instance, you can spot that one multiple choice answer is correct for the DOMAIN, but the other multiple choice answer is correct for the RANGE. Another one is almost right, but they messed up on reading the minimum value, mixing up a number on the x-axis and y-axis. Probably you are picking the second-best answers, the almost right answers. By defining each answer choice, you'll see the better "right" answer and why you should start picking that one, and you'll begin to spot the "most common wrong answers" and avoid them. On the SAT math, I'd smile when I could spot why the other answer choice was so close to being right, and I could avoid it for being wrong.

i taught AP Psychology and had access to those tests. Ask your teacher to see them to study. I used to use them as practice for my students. The teacher cannot allow tpyou to take the test home but the teacher can allow you to look at the questions and answers and even allow you to take the test for practice, under their proctoring. Besides just skipping hard problems and coming back, smart practice.A lot of questions will likely at least have a few obvious(hopefully) wrong answers. Such as a loop that runs through a list but forgets to increment the index. That is something you can try to gain intuition on, spotting the error. Off by one errors, failure to increment leading to an infinite loop, wrong variable operation. Some questions will be asking how a program will output, and recognizing the patterns will be important. The quicker you can see a program will skip every other number, the better. The quicker you see basic structures of the program, the better.Practice really will be the only way - it's hard to do this so quickly. But by doing practice, and really analyzing how each question works, you should have an understanding of basic things to look for to speed up the time it'll take to analyze the code.It helped me that I had lots of practice with coding hangman, a cheap and bad Yugioh card game replica, and began a Fire Emblem replica at the time. That sort of thing really forces you to be better at thinking through algorithms.I still ultimately couldn't finish the multiple choice question section, finishing almost all of them (like I believe you're doing). Your problem may be finishing the multiple choice in time, or missing a good proportion of it because you felt rushed. You just need to know what to look for, that's all. I suggest that you:Take a multiple choice section that you've already done and go through it again. But this time, don't time yourself. Read the passage first, and reread again if you have to. If you don't understand the entire thing, it's okay. At least have a gist of it down. Go through each question as slowly as you need to. Understand what it's asking, and what the answer choices are. Then go back in the passage and find where the answer is (if such is explicitly stated). Understand why it makes sense.Repeat with other multiple choice sections.As you go along and build confidence, you can go faster. You'll begin to find out that the multiple choice section really isn't as convoluted as it appears to be. It's all practice, although knowing important key words such as alliteration, hyperbole, etc. can certainly save you a point or several on the exam. Practice until you bring yourself up to speed. And if you still have time before the exam, see how much you can beat the timer. Just don't sacrifice your points to go faster if you can help it.My personal tactic: Here's something that I've done on the AP English tests that may or may not be controversial. I would always briefly go over the questions before reading the passage. That way, when I do start reading, I already have an idea of what to look for. I've been able to find answers faster, and the questions themselves could also tell me a bit about the passage before I jump into reading.

Normally, we may find all free response versions of previous year easily in AP Central but I have never seen that they publish complete multiple choice exam or practice exam. There are certainly a few which are scattered some where on the Internet but the amount does not seem satisfied the hunger of AP learners. I've got assumption that AP Central is afraid of exam examinees may learn the answers directly or at least the way to do them, which descend the difficult quality of AP Exams. Any reason else, I have no ideaBy the way, remind me if I was too lazy and hurry to ask this question instead of being a little bit more patient. I did, basically.
