Facial numbness due to birth control pill?
I have been searching all over the internet for answers to this problem or to find someone with the same symptoms. I have been on Loestrin for about three years now. Just this month they have switched me to the generic, Minastrin. Since being on this pill, I have sometimes been experiencing facial numbness either on my left or right side. This worries me because a few years ago, I went to the ER with same symptoms while on the birth control Yaz. I have read online that facial/body numbness could be due to anxiety and stress, which I do have a lot of in my life. Could this be it or do I attribute it to my birth control? My MRI was completely normal before and the numbness does eventually go away. I also sometimes have breakthrough bleeding or no period at all.. which I don't know if there is any correlation there. Anyone have the same problems while on birth control or maybe it is simply anxiety and stress?
How bad is it to smoke Hookah and be on birth control (pill)?
Alright, so I am on the Sronyx birth control pill and recently I've been going to our local Hookah lounge lately. Depending on my mood, I will do a pretty good amount. It's not something I do very often. I am wondering if any of you know how serious the side effects risk can be?? I will talk to my doctor about it. I know another girl who is on the same pill as me, and she's smokes cigarettes alot. I don't smoke cigarettes, or have done any kind of weed. The only smoking I've ever done in my life which was recently is hookah. I have also heard that if it's the equivalence of less that 15 cigarettes a day, it's fine. (well not fine, but do-able) and that the risks increase when you are over the age of 35. I'm 18
Will a doctor prescribe Chantix to an 18 year old?
I am an 18 year old female. I have been smoking since I was 14 and I am desperately trying to quit but nothing is working so far. I smoke about a pack a day and it's only getting worse. If I do not stop soon I feel like I will never be able to. I'm very addicted and the addiction is growing. I cannot stop the craving and I even have physical symptoms of withdrawal after a couple of hours without nicotine. I've tried cutting back, patches, gum, and e-cigs. I am thinking about asking my doctor about Chantix. But I feel like he may think I am too young and won't prescribe it to me. I take 30mgs of Vyvanse (if that changes anything). Please let me know your thoughts, opinions, and maybe some advice on quitting smoking. Thanks!
Have the Saba ACE weight loss pills worked for anyone?
I would like to try these diet pills (along with a healthier diet and some light exercise to start off) and I would like to know opinions on this product. My mother works with someone who took these pills and lost a lot of weight, but I would feel more comfortable if more people would tell me their own personal stories from using this product.
