Why is my tricep twitching?
It sounds like what you have (the irregular, visible, painless, uncontrollable twitch of a muscle) is what's called a "fasciculation". It's extremely common and usually benign. It's often from electrolyte/mineral imbalance, so improving your diet (less soda and tastycakes, more bananas and other fruit) would most likely help. But can also be caused by caffeine (like in mountain dew), stress, dehydration, and many other possible factors. They're extremely annoying, I know (though not painful, luckily). I had one near the back of my left knee the last few days and nothing I did seemed to make it go away; I almost wanted to chew my leg off, it was so irritating. Luckily for the past day or so it's been gone. Unfortunately it seems to now appear in my eyelid. Go figure.
Why does my right tricep muscle twitch?
I have been working out since I was 17. When I was 19, I noticed that after my arm workouts, my right tricep would start twitching every time I flexed it or if I leaned with pressure on my right hand. I am now 21 years old, and my tricep still twitches. I have NOT worked out in the last two months because I injured my bicep while I was wrestling. And my tricep still twitches even though I haven't worked out in 2 months. Does anyone know what's wrong with it? Also, my bicep has been hurt for two months. I'm pretty sure I hurt it in wrestling and I think I might have delayed the healing process because I continued to wrestle because I didn't think the injury was that serious. I never felt the pain till after wrestling or working out. But it still hurts and I have stopped everything with my right arm for the past two weeks. There is this sharp pain in the lower part and the pain fluctuates all the way to my elbow. I would really appreciate any help :]
My right tricep muscle woke me this morning with twitching. It has continued for hours. Why is it happening and how do I stop it?
IANAD.What's your electrolyte balance like? For me, twitching means I'm low on magnesium. Take an epsom salt bath (two cups / tub) and if it's still twitching in the morning, call your doctor.
Why is my tricep twitching?
I once got muscle twitching after doing very high-volume deadlifts. I had taxed my central nervous system very hard and when I was going to sleep my muscles were spasming in my back and leg. I found that stretching and foam rolling help. Also there's certain vitamins that help the recovery of the central nervous system it's mainly some B vitamins (b6 and b12) and a few other vitamins like magnesium and a couple more I can't remember. Sunflower seeds or OJ are good for those vitamins. Also I am most forgot to add that you want to sleep completely to recover the CNS. And you want to actively relax. I think I read on bodybuilding.com that taking warm or hot baths can help the recovery of the CNS. Also meditation is good or guided relaxation through hypnosis.
My muscles have been twitching in the same spot for a week now, I'm starting to be concerned?
Muscles twitch from time to time for everyone. But for the past week or so, a certain spot has been twitching everyday and I'm wondering why? It twitches frequently, too. The spot is on my tricep/back of arm area on my right arm. It does not hurt but it's starting to get annoying. I don't understand what is wrong. I'm 18 and I've never had this problem before.
Why is my left tricep twitching?

My tricep won't stop twitching?!?!?!?
Muscle twitching is annoying, isn't it? If it's been going on for only ten minutes, I'd say you have nothing to worry about. Just try to distract yourself so you don't get too annoyed. Stretching might also help it. Or might not...but still. If it keeps going, say, for days, then it might be worth seeing a doctor over. Or if you get some other symptom, like a severe headache, or larger movements, then it might be worth asking about. Otherwise, just try to bear with it. It should go away soon.
Should I worry about my right tricep randomly twitching?
I used to lift weights and work out everyday in high school in adv pe, I'm 22 and don't lift weights anymore and sometimes when I'm laying in bed my right tricep randomly twitches. Should I worry about it or not? It hasn't been doing it very long that I'm aware of, it's only been doing it randomly this passed week. I'm not sure what it could be or why it's doing it and don't know if I should be worried about it or not?
Why does my upper right arm keep twitching?
There are alot of things that can affect this....1) Dehydration (drink more water). 2) Stress, your body is manifesting stress in this fashion. (Physical exercise is good for stress relief). 3) Sodium deficiency (drink gatorade, etc... that has electrolytes which will also replenish sodium levels). 4) Lack of sleep (get more sleep-no less than 6 hours a night). I hope this helps.
I keep getting muscle/nerve twitching what could it be?
It's been since July 09. It moves out of control under my skin like its a pulse. It happens in both arms and legs, but also stomach, shoulder and other places. It sometimes feels like it is in the muscle and when I see it on my arm(in the bicep or tricep) it jumps and wobbles. Does it for 5 seconds then stops, then again for another 5 - 10 before going to another part, then I won't get anything for an hour or something. WTF. I wonder if it will go away.
