2nd Birthday party theme ideas, anyone?
Hey there :) My daughter will be 2 on July 7th (OMG, where did the time go?!) We are probably going to do a BBQ with close friends and family. For her 1st birthday we did the same thing, but did a Hawaiian Luau theme. It was a great success!! Now, I need a new theme/ideas for her 2nd. There won't be too many other children there (maybe 3 or 4). I was thinking of renting a small bounce house but I want a theme. Any ideas on decorating and stuff like that??
Ideas for classic rock themed wedding?
First of all, how cool are you! Sounds a lot more fun than a traditional wedding. If I ever get married, I will do the same: I hire a talented cover band who can rock out to Zeppelin. They play an authentic version of Zeppelin's "When the Levee Breaks" as I walk down the aisle. (It moves my soul, and I'm not a big fan of ballads.) My feet are bare and I'm wearing a blue sundress. (Casual attire.) We read our own vows and then a preacher marries us. I chose a minister who is also a family friend, and he says just a few words about God. My husband and I do most of the talking. The ceremony is less than ten minutes. Then we move over to a picnic area. Sandwiches, potato salad, cole slaw, homemade potato chips, and a pyramid of white cupcakes. After dark, we move into a tent, which is decorated like a 70's rock and roll bar.
