Why do my budgies hate fruits?
well heres how i trained my budgies to eat veggies. 1.pick off a small amout of millet and stick it through the cage bars. the birds will come and start pecking at the seed slowly bring ot a veggie and put it near the millet. 2.if they fly away keep trying. when they are comfortable with the veggie remove the millet slowly and theyll start pecking at the veggie =) good luck!
Why do I hate all fruits?
I hate all fruits, fruit flavor, anything that tastes like fruit, and i hate the smell too. Except for lemons limes and oranges. I've tried eating fruit and ever since I was little I've been like this. I gag when I try to eat it, and if i can taste or smell fruit my throat feels like its closing up and it gets hard to breathe. And if fruit touches any other food I refuse to eat it, I hate it that much. Am I allergic or what? is anyone else like this?

Why do most people hate fruit cake?
Hi 303980... Simple. Most people can't drink Rum (that's me) and wont drink Rum. If you would stick to a tried and true recipe without adding everything but the kitchen sink. (in quantities never envisioned in the recipe) If you used 'Canadian Club' instead of the rum and went easy on the 'Peel and Citron and Cherries', (or left it out) nuts are dandy. I probably would enjoy it. (maybe even drool a bit)

Why do so many people hate fruitcake?
I happen to love fruit cake, and I’m glad that a lot of people don’t like it, that means more for me!But, I think part of the reason is that fruit cake is an old tradition, and can be just awful. Fruit cake should not be so heavy that you could use it to knock someone out, and it should not be so light that all the fruit just falls out. It should also not be cloyingly sweet, the dried and candied fruits in it are already sweet enough. If it has liquor, it should just be a hint, not enough to get you a DUI.A little bit goes a long way. My aunt had an old cake that it took the family years to eat. Every time she would give out a very small slice, about a half inch wide, she would take the rest of the cake, pour brandy over it, cover it with its towel and put it back in its can for next year. It had the best flavor, the brandy would age all year long, and the fruit would be nice and moist when you got to have a little bit.I made a fruit cake a few years ago, from a pound cake recipe that I added candied fruit. It was okay, but not anywhere near as good as the one my aunt had. I think this year, I will start early, as soon as candied fruit is available (oh, heck maybe I’ll just candy it myself!), and have it ready by Christmas.

My kids are funny like that too, but they do love fruit. Most of the time they enjoy having raw veggies verses cooked. If we have tray with dip they will go to town. Our warm vegetables consist of a whole lot of corn, but they do like broccoli cooked too. Try making her a fruit smoothie with milk and a little sugar or sweet and low. My kids love those and it is so good for them!
Why do cats never eat fruits?
All of the answers saying cats are “obligate carnivores” are correct. Cats lack the ability to develop certain amino acids that other animals’ bodies can make from a herbivorous or omnivorous diet. I was a vet tech for a few years and learned a lot about cats and their diet. I can say from personal experience, it is easy to tell a cat who gets lots of meat (protein) in its diet from a cat who eats dry food where the first ingredient is corn meal. Just from a glance you can tell what a cat eats. When cats eat food that is mainly anything other than meat their bodies are forced to eat their own muscle to make up for the lack of protein and amino acids in their diet. Cats crave protein. It is hard-wired. Years of evolution drive them to hunt. Partly for sport, mostly for nutrition. Cats don’t have ANY grinding molars, NONE. This is a very good indication they have no business eating fruits. Fruits don’t taste good to cats, they have trouble chewing fruits, and, as any cat owner can tell you, fruit is boring prey for a cat :) . A cat wants to watch its dinner struggle and slowly die. There are obviously exceptions, such as the siamese who eats cantaloupe in the top answer (which is awesome by the way.) For the most part though, if it isn’t meat a cat isn’t interested. So I have to take this opportunity to say that you don’t need to buy super expensive food for your cats, but PLEASE make sure the number one ingredient is chicken/chicken meal or what have you. Corn meal is terrible for them. Sorry, I had to use this as a soap box.
