My 16 Year Old Son Got Suspended From School For Beating Up The Janitor. What Should I Do

What's the craziest reason a kid got suspended at your school?

Once a couple of sixth graders were vaping during class. They asked to use the bathroom, and vaped there before returning and pretending everything was normal. They got so arrogant they showed a girl that one of them liked. She told a friend of hers who we’ll call J, who told me and one of my best friends. The first thing we decided to do was to ask the girl to take photos so we could report them. She got the photos and gave them to us. We were only a couple days away from telling the administrators when this happened.“Oh, did you hear? So-and-so told the principal that sixth graders were vaping!”Darn. He beat us. I asked J about it and she angrily told us the consequences everyone had received:Of the three boys caught vaping, one was the principal’s son and the other his best friend. So naturally they weren’t even reprimanded. The other boy was suspended for two days.Annnnnnd drumroll….The boy that told the principal was suspended for three days.He was suspended for telling the principal his son was breaking the rules. He was suspended for doing the right thing. And we were only a couple of days away from telling them. We could’ve gotten suspended for telling them instead of that poor boy.I guess they really don’t like tattletales.

Recommended unique shoujo mangas?

I'm desperate for some good shoujo manga, after reading Moe Kare and just finishing it.

I don't really want the typical, boring, predictable you-already-know-what's-gonna-happen type though, something different and unique, (no ecchi!!) but also contain the elements of a shoujo manga, like romance etc.

Also, if you could include the sites where I can read em, that would be great!

Thanks.

Why did high school suck for you?

It’s a HierarchyI know I can’t speak for all high-schools everywhere but at my school it’s a freaking hierarchy. It’s divided into groups, or sects if you will.PopularKind of PopularNormalUnder the RadarOutcasts’The thing I hate about it is that most of the “Popular” ones treat everyone below them (or so they think are below them) like trash. So do the Kind of Popular ones and so on and so forth and this really ticks me off.I can only speak for myself so I’ll say what I am at my school.I’m (a):Geek: Tech Nerd, Loves Coding (Gonna study CS in College), Loves Reading, plays instruments and speak several languages (and counting).Physically Fit: Jock - High-School Athlete. I’m varsity, starting point guard (even though I shoot better than I dribble) at my school and I’m a sophomore. Go to the Gym religiously. More info of Physical Fitness here: Josue Quintero's answer to What physical exercise do you do?I don’t really know what else to put here, but I might edit this if I have anything else to say that I am. Oh yeah! Christian. So now that I’ve set the stage I’ll directly answer the Question. What do I hate about High School?(Hierarchy) People treat others as dirt, they discriminate and bully other kids and it’s completely normal to them. Nothing out of the ordinary, and I abhor it. I hate it when people judge others because of their Gender, Age, Race or Religious POV.In my highschool I try, I really, really try to help others when I can. When someone bullies someone I always get between them and stare the bully down. (I guess it helps that I’m a Jock). Most of the bullying at my highschool -it’s a science highschool- happens to Nerds/Geeks and I’m almost always the one saving my fellow Bookworms from savages. They’re like family, sort of, and I dislike it that others don’t treat them like family, or at least humans, too. Sadly I can’t be there to help all of them because my school’s huge.I remember when I was in middle school, I got to a point where I was pretty depressed because of personal stuff and my chubbiness. No one at school was there to help me and so when life got better for me I decided I was going to help others in any way I could. In Highschool it can sometimes turn from a hierarchy to a dictatorship and it’s our moral obligation to help those who feel like they’re alone. We can't repay our good luck with bad grace, it invites darkness. -RLGeek out.P.S: This is just the biggest thing that I hate about my high-school. Cafeteria Food isn’t tasty either.

For what reason was each person in detention in the movie The Breakfast Club?

Andy taped another, weaker kid's butt together using masking tape because he felt he hadn't cut loose on anyone in high school like his domineering father had. Brian left a flare gun in his locker, which went accidentally off, destroying a ceramic elephant lamp he'd made for shop class. A teacher subsequently found it. Clare skipped school to go shopping with a friend. Bender pulled a false alarm and Allison admitted she did nothing but showed up anyway for lack of anything better to do.

As a teacher what was the hardest thing you saw a student go through?

A trouble-filled life that eventually ended with his death. And no, it was not by suicide. One of my students was an Emirati kid, around nineteen years old, who had failed his grade more than once. He came from a wealthy local family that gave him everything he wanted. He had an expensive sports car, unlimited allowance and minimal parental supervision. It was the recipe for a teenage disaster, if you ask me. Ali’s parents were divorced. Mom was not around and his father was uninvolved. He was an angry kid. But when he wasn’t angry, he was very charming. He did not do well in school and his absence count was sky high.Despite his charm and good looks, he never really fit in with others. Mainly, because he was older than most, and also because of his bad boy reputation. Ali was the kind of person that students avoided and did not want to be associated with especially in public. Some kids still took advantage of him though. And he responded to them, knowingly. If they wanted pills and/or alcohol, entry to over twenty-one nightclubs, or a joy ride, Ali always came to the rescue. He was their go to guy for doing anything illegal.Ali got himself in trouble a lot. He was often caught smoking, skipping class and cheating on tests. He was violent too. Ali was almost always involved in all physical fights that took place in and out of school. Some were so bad, the police had to be called in to break them.Ali’s father was called in for a meeting with the Principal and several others, when he beat him up in their presence, after he learned that Ali was to serve a suspension because of his involvement in a fight, which ended in another student’s hospitalization.Ali never came back to school after the suspension. He cut all ties with the few people who spoke to him in school. Many of his teachers, myself included, contacted the father to beg him to send Ali to school, so he can finish his last few months of senior year and graduate. The father was uncooperative. He said that Ali was rarely home and he was unsure of his whereabouts. A few weeks later, we held a morning assembly, informing the student body of Ali’s passing. He died in a car crash. He lost control while speeding in the desert.
