My 3 Month Old Puppy Hads Been Acting Sick For 2 Days. For The Past 8 Hrs He

My 3 month old puppy seems sad and depressed? Should I keep him?

A puppy of this age, showing these symptoms, isn't healthy!! Far from it. Have you taken him to A VET because it's pretty obvious that this poor puppy is sick. Very sick from the sounds of it.

If you have made up your mind not to keep him, or get him the veterinary attention he so clearly needs if this is true, then for sure take him straight back to his breeder. You should already be in touch with whoever you got him from because what he's doing is very far from normal for a 3 month old Lab.

'Unhappy'? Dogs, and especially puppies will put up with most things that life chucks at them without being unhapy. Again a dull lethargic puppy (or adult) is SICK.

Add - Please do NOT throw sticks for dogs. If you'd seen the result of doing this, you'd never do it. Secondly a lonely bored puppy, especially a Labrador, wouldn't be sitting there hardly moving. He's be on a destruction rampage. Again this puppy needs a vet. And asap. Trolling?

My Labrador puppy (3 months) poops around 8-10 times a day. What can be the possible cause for this?

It's not a Good Sign and It Can be Diarrhea.Ordinarily, littler breeds and more youthful puppies should urinate more as often as possible than bigger breeds and more seasoned pooch. The normal sound puppy will deliver roughly 10 to 20 ml of pee for each pound of body weight every day. In a perfect world grown-up puppies ought to be permitted outside to alleviate themselves no less than 3-5 times each day.your pet is a grown-up, generally sound, and carrying on ordinarily aside from the looseness of the bowels, I suggest you withhold sustenance – NOT WATER – for 12 hours. At the 12-hour check, offer a flat eating regimen. I prescribe cooked ground turkey and plain 100 percent pumpkin. This is an alternate insipid eating routine from the customary ground hamburger and rice blend that is regularly prescribed. Indeed, even the least fatty ground hamburger contains a ton of fat, and fat can compound an instance of the runs. Rice, despite the fact that it's flat, is exceptionally fermentable. Maturing rice in the colon of a pet with the runs tends to increment gassiness. Additionally, rice watches out for simply zip directly through the GI tract, leaving with the following episode of unstable loose bowels absolutely undigested.Blend the cooked ground turkey and pumpkin or sweet potato 50-50 in your pooch's bowl. Encourage 2 to 3 little dinners daily until the point when stools are back to 100 percent, which ought to occur in around 72 hours. My most loved all-characteristic against looseness of the bowels cure is a herb called dangerous elm bark. I suggest continually having some close by so when you require it, it's in that spot. Tricky elm is alright for puppies, grown-ups, and geriatric mutts and it is totally protected when mixed with different prescriptions. I suggest about a half teaspoon for every 10 pounds of body weight, blended into the flat eating routine twice day by day.I likewise prescribe you include a decent quality pet probiotic.Sustaining a flat eating regimen and supplementing with dangerous elm bark is a decent arrangement for around 3 days, at which time your puppy's stool ought to have returned to typical. In the event that following 3 days the runs hasn't cleared up, it's a great opportunity to check in with your veterinarian.

My 8 week old puppy is suddenly vomiting, please help!?

What exactly is the dog throwing up? Is it food or just yellow or clear mucus? When did the puppy last eat?

Usually, when a dogs throws throws up yellow or clear mucus, it's bile and means that the dog has an has empty tummy and is hungry.

If your dog is otherwise acting normal an playful, I wouldn't worry all that much about it, but if it's an everyday thing that happens, you need to take the puppy to a vet. For now, you need to make sure that you keep her hydrated.

Here are some links that you that you might find helpful if what the dog vomits is clear or yellow. I think that they will ease your mind.

Puppies head wobbles like bobble head, lethargic, tired & in episodes..what is it?

I am worried sick about my Maltipoo!!!?
My pups 7 months old. She has not been herself lately after she had an "episode". Her first one was 5 days ago. She was laying on the bed when I noticed she was in an uncomfortable position. I called her name and she looked at me with these eyes of confusion, sadness, and restlessness. She was nearly sweating she was so hot. Her arms stiffed up she had no control of her neck. Every time I called her name or hold her the impression that I got was she was sensitive to sound and it scared her she had wobble head lethargic sleepy but was conscious and wagged her tail when she saw my neighbor I booked it to my neighbors to seek for help he suggested I monitor her breathing, give her water n comfort her.I did n waited an hour n had my fingers on her heart the whole time I was afraid she was gonna stop breathing! I thought she consumed poison? An hour passed i freaked and rushed her into the ER. The vet took blood, flushed system, gave her an iv pumping fluids. When I picked her up next day she was back to normal. 3 days ago she had her second episode. that I am aware of at least :"( I didnt wait an hour this time n rushed 2the hospital again. The vet asked 2 see her walk n she could barely. He argued w/ me insisting she's fine until I picked her up and pointed out her head wobbles she kept moving her head back like she was on a roller coaster. She was admitted once again. She was there for 2 more days the worse 2 days of my life as I can only imagine what she went through. I came to pick her up Dr said she was fine. Didn't answer any questions n said her blood work was norm. Today's the third night she's been home and I have been shadowing her because I am deathly afraid she'll have another episode. She's a little distant, although, she could b annoyed by me she is super sleepy and tired not as outgoing, friendly, energetic I'm so confused and have been doing lots of research online. Unfortunately, I've read horror stories :"( The couple days she was at vet I sobbed like an infant anyone experienced this if so any ideas/diagnose? Please help me. Idk what to do!

How do I care for an 8-week old German Shepherd puppy?

I love Mary Nielson’s answer because it is spot on. I just need to add a couple of things.Toys - Your puppy is going to need a lot of appropriate things to chew on. Puppies chew and it is going to get excessive in 2–3 months because they will be getting their adult teeth. Without appropriate toys your puppy will chew on inappropriate things. Your puppy does not know what is safe from what isn’t and they experience the world with their mouths. That means you are going to have to pay close attention, especially out on walks. Please do not give your puppy rawhide chews! They get soggy and can be a real choking hazard. I almost lost a dog to one years ago. They also teach your dog that it is okay to chew on leather. If you want to protect shoes, bags, furniture or jackets not giving your puppy rawhide is the first step.Foods- Please make certain that you don’t give your puppy raw or freeze dried raw food/treats. Puppies do not have a fully developed immune system so these things can make them sick. Adult dogs do fine with these, but stay away from these foods until your puppy is an adult.Enjoy your puppy and remember to give them a lot of attention. German Shepherds are sensitive and extremely bright. When they feel neglected they can become destructive. I had one that tore up my couch because I worked overtime one night. If I had been home as usual that likely would not have happened. Dogs like routine, it can be altered to benefit them, but they hate it when the change isn’t in their favor. A longer walk or an extra one is cool, but one shorter than normal walk will leave them wanting. If you can find a cover for the toilet paper roll, that would be a good idea. GSDs seem to have a thing for shredding paper, you could end up with tp confetti when they are bored.

Can you feed a 2 week old puppy baby cereal?

Yes you can! I had a litter of pups ( I rescued their mom when she was preggers) They were 6 big pups and a drain on their mom, even though she was eating three bowls of puppy food a day ,plus milk and eggs. So,when the pups were about 2-1/2 weeks old,I started them on rice baby cereal and puppy milk, with a little plain yogurt, and they loved it! Of course I had to put some on my finger and put it in their mouths, and then direct their faces to the plate, but boy,did they ever love it.I fed them twice a day ( of course they were still nursing from mom as well),and at 4 weeks started adding canned puppy food to the mix. They grew up very healthy and strong, and lived long lives for dogs that were between 70 and 110 lbs. I just lost the last one in December from kidney failure. She was 14. But yeah, baby cereal is fine, there's no sugar or salt in it. Just make it real thin so it's easy for him to swallow, and increase the cereal as his teeth come in. Oh,and expect a mess! Use baby wipes to clean him up after he eats. Good luck!

Here are my pups throughout their lives, including a pic of them eating their cereal at two weeks.
