What are the most painful ways to be hurt by kids under 3 years old?
Most of these answers focus on physical pain that children under 3 can cause but none of them mention that words and actions can hurt significantly more than physical pain.1. "Mama" - Sometimes said without a reference to Dad. Ouch. I am right here, dude. Sometimes it's not what you say but what you don't say.2. Falling asleep while I am reading a story - Ok, I get it. You're bored. But you don't have to actually fall asleep! That is a harsh way to send a message.3. Shakes head no - In reference to not wanting to eat the dinner I made. I know I am not a fancy schmancy chef. You don't need to tell the whole family that to prove a point. You might as well just make a thumbs-down sign a la Gladiator.4. Looking away while we are playing peek-a-boo - You were having fun! Where did I go? Oh, there I am! But then when I covered my eyes and opened them you moved onto something else. It was nice playing with you, too.5. Laughing while being tickled - Part of me wants to believe you are laughing uncontrollably but deep down I wonder if there is a hint of sarcasm in those giggles.My wife tells me he is just a baby and that I need to resolve my issues on my own but I don't think it is too much to ask for a little common decency. Oh well, I guess I will be the bigger person, again.

This lucky entity will soon be named Julian and he will become a 6′7″ tall human being.This is Julian at 14 years old. One year before he was left homeless and without parents.This is Julian at 19 years old having a full time job while studying business administration while working on his first business while having a girlfriend.This is Julian at 22 years old a little while after he ended up sleeping in his car after losing everything again.This is Julian at 24 years old having a perfect hair day.This is Julian at 25 years old having his first job in England in a warehouse.And this is Julian with his first new English friends while being single while having a full time job as a support worker for people with autism and learning disabilities while working on a side business.And this is Julian at 25 years old buying his dream car with cash (he is actually crying of happiness inside).And this is Julian at 25 years contemplating about killing his barber.And this is Julian at 25 years old after having his eyebrows done with hot wax and thinking “I'd rather give birth to a baby through caesarean than go through this again”.And this is the entrepreneur spirit inside Julian a month ago. Or the serious Julian.And this is the adventurous spirit inside Julian two weeks ago.And this is the “ready to conquer the world” spirit inside Julian this morning.Julian has nothing to lose in this life so he takes risks and he does whatever is necessary to create the life he dreams of, while trying to look cool.Hope it was a pleasure getting to know “him” a little.Edit.First of all, thank you very much for all the kind words.As promised, I wrote about Julian’s life journey here.
