My 8 Month Old Daughter Has Had A Very Hard Time Pooping Any Suggestions To Help Her

Poop question 11 month old...sorry?

Lately, my 11 month old daughter has been pooping a bit wierd. Its quite firm and the outside of it is a charcoal black color(leaves the color on her butt and the diaper), but the inside of it is just brown, like a regular poop would be. (Yes, Ive had to look, not the pleasant experience) Ive called her ped. and he said that as long as it isnt that black throughout, then its nothing to worry about and its just how shes digesting something in her diet. Her diet hasnt changed drastically, except that she only gets about 14 ounces of formula a day now. She eats 2nd and third foods along with some table foods. She does drink a good amount of water during the day and also some juice, but not much. Even though her ped. says its nothing to worry about, I still wonder whats up and I wondered if anyone else has had this with their child and what did you do if anything. Thank you so much in advance!

What kind of formula can i use to help my daughter with constant spitting up?

we used good start by nestle, my daughters never spit up unless they were ill but that wasn't until towards 9-10 months. Its really gentle on their tummys.

My 8 month old is having trouble pooping?

he is on GERBER GOOD START SOY formula because he is lactose intolerant. also he eats a good amount of fruits and vegetables a day, with some protein too. i'm calling his doctor first thing in the morning. he is also running a low grade fever. however, i know that he is teething but it shouldn't be causing all of this!!!

My cat pooped in my baby's crib, any suggestions? I dont want to get rid of the cat.?

My cat is 10 years old and just started pooping in random places over the last 4 years. I just had a baby 3 months ago and he has pooped in her crib. He's a big cat and has a hard time jumping on the couch. I'm wondering if it's an act of jealousy because the crib is a lot higher than the couch. I'm not sure what to do with him. He's been living in my bathroom ever since the incident. I dont want to take him to a shelter but I also don't want him living in my bathroom for the rest of his life. I've had him since he was a baby.

Newborn is having a hard time pooping?

Babys seem to make a big fuss about pooping. My 4 wk old makes a big show of it. If you are breastfeeding then the baby should be going 2-3 times a day and bottle fed babies go once or twice a day. As long as it doesn't look like rabbit droppings, she's okay. You could also try a suppository but I wouldn't do it to often because she will get used to it, and won't go on her own. I just went to the dr and this is the advice I was given and it worked. Good luck and best wishes

My one month old son is constipated?

When my son was born i tried breastfeeding but that didn't work out. So I started feeding him Enfamil Lipil w/ Iron. Ever since he has been constipated and always has a hard time pushing. I have tried spasitories and Infants Mylicon but the dr. told me to stop that b/c he is way too young to be taking medications. He only suggested Pedialite so that's what I've been giving him and has helped a little but not a lot. Does anyone have suggestions or home remedys I could use. He always has a hard time pooping and I feel so bad looking at him each day suffering and not being able to do anything about it. I feed him 4 oz. for each feeding. My mother in law gives him different types of teas. The only one I know is the chamomile. I'm not even sure if that's supposed to help. Does anyone feed their baby rice water?? I think many Hispanics do this. Is it supposed to be healthy?
