I m receiving all new emails in Trash folder. How can i set them to come in Inbox.?
I don't know what email provider you are using but when this happens to me what I have to do is click on the email in the junk folder (or right click) and mark it not as junk. You basically have to do the opposite of how you would flag messages as junk.
How do you reset yahoo mail to its default setting?
I'm pretty sure that Yahoo keeps that information on your account in their server. Did you try doing this? 1) Go to Yahoo! If you mean you want to change back to the format of regular mail that you used just before a very recent change, there is no way to go back at all! (This newer version does not have a 'What's New section, but goes directly to the Inbox.) If you mean you want a much older version of mail called 'Mail Classic', there are two ways to switch back: 1. Try the following link each time you open your mail - it still works as of yesterday. Save the link as a Bookmark/Favorite. Use it every time you visit Yahoo Mail, and you will get the Classic version. http://us.mc598.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launch *** If your account is registered in another country other than the US, the links should be changed to your country abbreviation. For example, change the 'us' and/or the '.com' portions of the links *** 2. This much older technique will still work for any country, since the newest version requires Javascript (kept updated) on the IE browser. The change back to Classic can be done with a small (temporary) change - disable Javascript. - For Internet Explorer, Go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom level. In the scripting section, disable active scripting., then refresh the page. Once you have switched back to Classic Mail, refresh the browser page and change these settings back again. In Options, click Permanent to stay in the Classic version. Do NOT click the 'One Time Only' option. - For Firefox and Chrome, remain logged in, go to Tools > Options > Content and un-check Enable JavaScript. For Firefox, open Tools, Options, Content. Click 'Disable javascript'. Then refresh the page while you are still signed in to Yahoo! e-mail to switch back. In Options, click Permanent to stay in the Classic version. HTC Evo Mail app will not receive yahoo! mail beta emails?
I have an HTC Evo phone and use yahoo mail as my main email account. I have had the mail app provided on the Evo set up to display my yahoo email using the imap/smtp. It has been working with no problems, until today. I am no longer receiving any new yahoo emails ( I can still send ), but if I log in to my yahoo account via the internet I have new emails. The only thing that has changed is that I updated my yahoo mail to use the new Yahoo! Mail Beta. To run a test, I set up a gmail account and another yahoo account that has not been converted over to the new Beta. They are both working fine and I am able to receive and send email. I have tried deleting the account and recreating and all that did was loose all my old emails also. Still cannot receive new emails. I went to the yahoo! mail beta website and tried the imap and smtp settings specified for an android device, but that did not have any affect. Has anyone else encountered this issue or have any ideas on how to fix.
Can't send emails from my Yahoo mail, Please help!?
i have been having very similar problems all week with sending emails from my yahoo account. some outbound messages go fine, but in too many cases i can't send a message. Either I get prompted for captchas constantly or, like you, I get a message saying they've detected a possible issue (i.e., spam) and can't send the email and to try again in 24-hrs. in many cases, even after answering the captchas correctly, it still won't send and gives me the spam message. At this point, I have no idea if any particular email will get sent or get blocked. My account is unusable like this. i have sent many emails to tech support, but have not gotten any useful response. So I went to their online chat and was talking to an agent for 30 minutes or so. The conclusion from the chat is that i have been advised to send no more than 2-4 emails per day which contain any of the following: "HTML code (code used to format websites), Links to other websites, Embedded graphics, Attachments, Forwarded messages (chain letters, jokes, etc.), High Outbound Message Volume, Sending email to multiple recipients." Since 90% of modern email fits into one or more of these buckets, this is wildly impractical. As the message indicates, I was told that the account will clear after 2-24 hours, but this has not been the case for me. For several days running, I have had a large percentage of perfectly normal messages blocked. But then even if it does clear, the rep confirmed that the "2-4 emails per day max" rule still applies. Based on my experience and what the rep said, it sounds like Yahoo is clamping down so hard on spammers that normal email usage has now become suspect and subject to blockage. I'm thinking I will need to migrate to gmail or hotmail / live.
