My Age Is 16 And My Height Is 5.10 I Want To Stop Growing My Height . What Can I Do

What age do you stop growing?

You have probably finished major growth, but growth in height continues to be possible until approximately 19--there's no definite cut-off. However, by age 26, all bones in your body should finish growing and knitting together. Cartlidge continues to grow all your life (hello big nose and ears in old people!) and obviously you can increase your girth through increased muscles or weight gain. Also, your feet will likely continue to grow as a result of gravity and weight.

What will be my permanent height? When do women stop growing?

I heard that one of the biggest factors (other than genes) to affect your final height is how well you grow through the first year of life: there was this study where identical twins were measured throughout their growing years and when one was poorly duing the first year and did not grow to their full potential (genetically predisposed) height, they never ever caught up again. I understand that keeping fit and healthy throught out the growing years can help you reach your fullest possible height, hence your parents may not be as tall as they might have got. So I'd suggest you can't do much more than eat good wholesome food with lots of fresh fruit and veg and a good mix of fibre, carbs and protein without too much fat, salt or sugar; do a little regular exercise; keep off the cigarettes and alcohol. You can have no way of telling when you will have growth spurts: I went to school with a girl who was exactly same height as me age 9, then I outgrew her and was much taller for most of the teens until she suddenly shot up after age 16 and was then finally several inches taller than me! You could ask your parents if you did well in the first year of your life - I was a sickly baby, and while my brothers, nephew and dad are all over 6' and my mum and sister over 5'7" I never got much more than 5'5" in the end.

At what age does a boy stop growing (in height)?

I'm going to answer this a bit differently than the distinguished and usually right-on-the-mark Tony...but I am.
If you check the CDC's growth chart for boys, you'll see that height tapers off very quickly after 17 and becomes almost flat. If you grow at all after 18, you'll grow very little...less than an inch.
Naturally there are exceptions, but these charts address what is typical.

What age do males typically stop growing.?

Puberty varies in length all over the place. Most boys stop around the end of their 18th year. But some go on into their early twenties. AT age 16 you are due for two or more "growth" spurts before puberty ends. When will they occur/ nobody can/could guess accurately. You are forgetting grandparents. My mother's father was over 6'.. I took after him. I am 5'11", taller than mom, dad, and brother!

Will Spyronolactone stop me from growing?

Hi, I am a MTF transgender, and I have been taking spyronolactone for about 6 months now. I'm sixteen now and I started taking hormones the summer of '10. I struggle with my height greatly, I'm about 5'10"-5'9" and I was wondering if this medicine will stop me from growing anymore. I know it blocks testosterone, but I really want to stop growing. Thank you for your help <3.
