Windows 10 Asus Laptop Wont Boot?

My Asus laptop has been getting "FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE" every so often since I updated to Windows 10. I looked this up when it started happening and it seemed common on Asus laptops. Today it happened again but after it wouldn't boot right. It went to the Asus loading screen and loaded then it would go to black screen. I rebooted multiple times and it kept doing it so I looked it up and found a few pages that said to unplug battery and hold down power button for 30-60 second then plug battery back in. I tried that and after the Asus loading screen it went to "Recovery It looks like Windows didn't load correctly" and gave me advanced options and restart option so I click restart. Then it went to Asus loading screen and black screen again like it was doing before! At this point I figured I would try and get help from the internet. ;-;

Which is the best Asus laptop?

Asus is one of the best laptop brands. Asus also has competitive prices and some of the best technology on offer. Asus makes quality motherboards and hence lowers prices and since the company is relatively new in the market, it offers several good deals and attractive prices. Some of the best Asus laptops in my view are as follows:1 .Asus 8th Gen i5 Flip ZenbookKey specs-Operation System: Genuine Windows 10Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-8250U Processor1.6GHz Quad-core, with Turbo boost (up to 3.4GHz) and 6MB cacheGraphics: NVIDIA® GeForce ® MX150Display: 14-inch LED-backlit Full HD (1920 by1080)Memory: 8GB 2133MHz LPDDR3 onboardStorage: 256GB SATA3 SSD2. My ASUS laptop won't start up?

This is an ASUS K601 Series laptop running Win7 Premium x64, recently bought. It was in hibernate/sleep mode and wouldn't wake so I removed battery. Upon inserting, laptop just won't turn on. AC brick light is on, but no other light on laptop is on. Won't turn on w/ AC or on battery. I reseated the memory module and I also tried holding the power button without the battery and AC to clear the PCU. I just don't know what the deal is here. It was literally fine before it went to sleep.

How to break a password on a ASUS laptop?

In this case, it makes no difference whether your laptop is Intel, Asus, Dell, or whatever. Your problem is that you cannot log into Windows.

Some say you need to crack the password. I don't know about that. I don't think it will work. Don't try to crack the password. I think, it's a waste of time.

Instead of trying to figure out what the password is, try to log in as Guest or Administrator. Every Windows computer has these two hidden accounts, and sometimes they are not password protected, because they are hidden anyway! When you get to the point where Windows XP asks for you to enter the password, press CTRL+ALT+DELETE TWICE. A small window will pop up. It will ask you to enter the user name and password. In the user name, type in "Guest" without the quotation marks and leave the password blank. Press enter.
If it allows you to log in, then you can use the computer as guest. It's not the best solution, but still better than nothing!

You can try this too: After you press Ctrl+Alt+Delete twice, type in the user name: "Administrator" and leave the password blank. Press enter. If Windows allows you to log in as Administrator, then you are very lucky. Someone forgot to set a password for the administrator account, so you can now go into Control Panel and create new account. Create an account for yourself and delete the existing account which was on the laptop! (The Administrator account and the Guest account will stay permanently. Windows won't allow you to delete these two.)

If you can't log in as Administrator, and you can't log in as Guest, then you probably have to reinstall Windows.
Sorry.

How do you factory restore an Asus laptop?

As such there isn't really a laptop factory reset mode. Laptops generally ship ‘blank’, then resellers will put the OS and software, in doing so the hard drive needs to be initially formated. So the closest you could get to a FR would be to rehash the harddrive, alternatively just a fresh install of the OS would suffice. However if youre referring to system life clocks, then i dont personally know of any, there are motherboard jumpers and the watch type flat batteries you could fiddle with the ‘empty’ their memory. It probably is possible although you'd hope they wouldn't make it easy. Similar to tampering with car odometers, there should be no reason to do so.

Would you recommend Asus laptops, why?

Depends on the line.I’ve had a lot of different Asus laptops over the years and i can say that they generally do a good job. I had the original Eee PC (with the 7 inch display) and one of the much later 10.1 inch Eee PC’s. I had the first machine that could be described as an Ultrabook before the Zenbooks came out and then I had a Skylake generation Zenbook UX305CA.I had great experiences with the Eee PCs and i had great experience with my Zenbook. The in between model I had some weird driver issues that Asus never fixed with driver updates so i have a hard time recommending that one which was from the Asus UL line that was discontinued a few years back in favor of the Zenbook line.I also have a client who picked up 2 Asus Vivobooks for himself and his girlfriend and he had me take them to setup security software and whatnot on them. Those machines were both very solid build quality for the money. They would make great student machines for college people as they were light and powerful enough to get any type of school work done as well as entertaining you on the weekend. Probably not great gaming machines as i don’t recall if they were available with discrete GPUs.I can say that generally i can recommend Asus laptops. They are well made, often offer up parts that are Linux compatible and their support isn’t bad. These days i use a Dell but Asus always falls on my list of things to check out when i’m in the market because of my positive past experiences.

Will an HP laptop charger fit an ASUS laptop?

If your ASUS charger doesn’t seem to be working, my first thought would be to check that the charger is actually faulty. Often the first thing to go on a laptop is the charging port, due to the repeated use. That and the cooling fan, because they have to do a lot of work in a laptop and are that much harder to clean than those on a desktop - more dust/dirt means it has to work harder and wears out faster. But I digress. If you know someone with an ASUS laptop, try your charger on that to make sure it works. Failing that, a local computer shop should be able to help.As to whether an HP charger would fit, probably not. Laptop manufacturers tend to have their own proprietary charging plugs/sockets. It may go in to the charging port on the ASUS and feel like it fits but if it’s slightly too large/small you can get a short circuit (fried laptop) or permanently damage the charging port.Even if they were exactly the same plug/socket, you’d have to make sure that the output voltage, output current and connector polarity all matched the original charger to avoid damage to your battery and/or laptop.Honestly, it’s just not worth it. Make sure the charger is actually at fault first. If it is, get an official ASUS replacement (local computer shop may be able to help with a second hand one), not a cheapo knock-off from eBay or Amazon. They can do just as much damage as plugging in the wrong charger.

How do I know if my Asus laptop has fully charged ?

i have just bought an Asus laptop and the manual said that its best to let it charge for 3 hours before turning it on for the first time. 3 hours passed, and the laptop's light is still green. Does it have to change colour or somthing for it to be fully charged ? And is it necessary to be fully charged before using it for the first time ?

ASUS Laptop stuck in "Headphone Mode"?

Just yesterday the speakers on my ASUS G60 worked fine. I plugged in some headphones and a few hours later took them out. Usually when I plug something into a jack a small bubble pops up telling me I've plugged or unplugged an item from the audio jack, but this time nothing popped up. The sound still comes out of the headphones and when I boot up the computer the POST sound "boom" still works, so the speakers aren't busted.

I tinkered around the Sound devices and found out that my speakers think that I'm still in "Headphone Mode" even without any headphones in the jack. I did my research and looked around the internet to find out why. Some people posted that it may be the pins inside the jack that are stuck, so I shined a flashlight in it and I saw that the pin was gone unlike the other two jacks (line-in and mic in).

I'm assuming that the pins inside the headphone jack (3.5mm) are stuck and that's why the laptop thinks it's still in headphone mode.

Is there a way to pop the pins back out?
I've tried re-inserting the headphones in and out and poking it with a paper clip, but that wouldn't work. I've also tried a can of compressed air, but that wouldn't work either.

Any ideas?
