My Baby Canbis Plant Is Really Dropping What Can I Do About It And Why Is It Doing My Other Ones

How long does it take to fully grow a marijuana plant?

It will depend on a lot of factors, but to make it fairly short and simple...If you start with a seed you will first have to wait for that seed to sprout, then wait for the plant to grow in size (vegetative state) and last you would have to wait for the plant to flower and produce THC (and other active components of the plant)How long this takes overall will depend on mainly four thingswhat particular strain of cannabis you're usingthe light and nutrients provided for the planthow large you desire the plant to grow (a photoperiod controlled plant will remain in the vegetative state essentially forever if it’s provided with light for 18+ hours a day)how long time you let the plant flower before you harvest itgrowing conditions in general (outdoor, indoor, fertilizer, light, growing medium etc.)This whole process could be anywhere from around 3 to 6 months, or even shorter using auto-flowering (as opposed to photoperiod where light controls when the plant will begin to flower.)Outdoor growing will usually take the most time as sunlight will be limited in comparison to the light you can provide indoors. When growing indoors you supply the plants with artificial light which allows for maybe 20 or even 24 hours of light per day during the vegetative state, making the plant reach its desired size in less time. This will speed up the process if they're properly supplied with nutrition. The fastest grow time would be achieved by using "high tech" growing methods such as hydroponics or aeroponics, where the plants don't grow in soil but instead have water containing nutrition directly supplied to the roots, and the lack of soil increases oxygen at the root level - plants need oxygen for their roots, that’s why overwatering is an easy way to kill a plant! If you skip the step of using seeds and instead make clones of an already existing mother plant, you can reduce the overall time it takes to grow the plant, and possibly harvest every 2 - 2½ months or so. That is the fastest its likely to get.You can't take clones from auto-flowering plants, only photoperiod ones. After harvest, drying it will take a few weeks if done properly (can be speed up at the expense of quality) and afterwards you can spend months curing it (like wine, it can improve).

Can a cannabis plant grow more than a year?

You can, theoretically, and I've actually done it before, but I don't recommend it. Among flowers, some are annuals, some are perennials. Cannabis is an annual. Annuals bloom one time, and die. Perennials bloom, revert to veg and grow more, then bloom again next year, ad infinitum. If you have a particular favorite plant, and you've pinched an early flower off and fallen in love... Rather than harvest the entire plant, when harvest time comes, go through the plant and snip all flowers using best practices as you would if you were taking cuttings ("clones").Then immediately, right away, put her back on veg nutrients, and put her back on an 18/6 light schedule (18 on, 6 off), or even 24 on. It's not easy to get them back into that vegetative growth state. If you successfully do get her back to veg, I'd recommend chopping her up into as many cuttings as you can, rather than re-flowering the girl herself. The cuttings may be slightly less great than the original, but not much. The original, re-flowered, will be disappointing to say the least. She's spent herself and planned to die with her original flowering. Your second harvest from her will be scant compared to the first, and no matter what you do nutrient- and care-wise, she won't produce as nice of flowers. You're best off to take cuttings off each plant the day before you switch to flowering conditions, and just let them be what they are: an annual.

How soon can you tell the sex of a cannabis plant grown from seed?

The earlier you try to identify the sex of a cannabis plant, the less accurate your guess is going to be.There are a few early signs, but they aren’t really reliable. Things such as plant height, bushiness, etc. But the problem with those methods are, they are typically very dependent on the strain as well as any number of environmental conditions. The most reliable way is to look for small, tear drop shaped pods with rounded tips that grow near where the fan leaves connect to the main stem. Just check for them every day when you go to take care of your plants. Those are the pollen sacks that male plants develop. You can differentiate the male pods from the female pistils because the male organs tend to be more rounded and pudgy almost, whereas the female parts tend to be longer, thinner, almost hair like.Though in terms of how many days? 30–60 days, depending on how long you keep them in vegetative growth. (30–60 is about average)

What are the medical risks of smoking weed around a baby?

This is impossible to answer for a variety of reasons. Many of the effects of different compounds in marijuana haven’t been studied enough to get a good answer.Marijuana as a plant can’t be measured, so there is no way to determine dose (this is one reason why medical marijuana is a stupid idea).Your marijuana may have additional chemicals or additives depending on where you got it.People react differently to different chemicals, so it’s hard to give a universal answer. In any case, you are very, very likely to be harming the baby’s lungs, as inhalation of foreign substances that your body isn’t equipped to handle is damaging to the drugs. You are also likely damaging the baby’s brain, as it’s in a time right now where a lot of development is going on, and marijuana acts as a neural suppressor and damages short term memory. Also, babies can’t handle the same doses that an adult can, so whatever your smoking is hitting the baby far, far harder. Keep in mind the effects of a bad trip. Imagine if those were some of your first memories of the world.I can’t believe I have to say this to an adult, but don’t smoke around a baby. Also don’t drop it. Don’t inject it with heroin. Don’t give it a beer. Don’t shake it. Come on, basic common sense here.

I want my boyfriend to drop his habits!?

I can truly understand your dilemma. My baby's father went through stages of smoking pot and drinking to excess and boy, did it wreak havoc on our relationship! It got to the point when I felt like I had to check up on him all the time to make sure he wasn't doing any of those things behind my back. He'd promise to quit, yet still do it and lie about it. It got to the stage where he had to move out. Believe me, when it comes to addictions like drinking, drugs and gambling, asking them to stop ONLY MAKES THEM MORE DETERMINED TO KEEP DOING IT! The only times things ever got better was when, a) I left him alone and he decided to quit on his own or b) when I ended the relationship - telling him I couldn't tolerate his behavior any longer. If he truly loves you, he will change his ways eventually because he'll KNOW that in order to have a future with you, the destructive behavior has to stop. If you do decide to leave him and he doesn't change, then unfortunately, in my opinion and experience, you'll have no choice but to let him go. In the long term, someone like that will bring you down - no question. Take care...

If you smelled pot coming from someone's house would you call the police? Could the police do anything?

Sometimes yes we can. It all depends.Back in January, 2017 a neighbor called that she could smell the odor of burning marijuana emanating from her next-door neighbor’s apartment. We responded to the location. It wasn’t my call. I was acting as the cover officer. As soon as we got out of our cars we could smell the marijuana. Last January was very cold and snowy and everyone had their doors and windows closed and the odor was still very strong — that’s pretty impressive. So we made contact with the calling party and she directed us to the right apartment. We knocked on the door like the gentlemen we are and, incredibly, the door opened. We were slammed in the face by a wall of marijuana smoke. I could barely see that there were three men in the room behind the homeowner who had thoughtfully opened the door to us. They were smoking a couple really pretty, and expensive, glass bongs (Oregon is next door and there is a head shop just a little ways across the state line). They were all in their late fifties and just kicking-back watching the NFL AFC Championship game (New England Patriots vs. Pittsburgh Steelers), smoking some grass, drinking beer and eating pizza. The responsible officer explained to the occupants why we were there and asked if they were indeed smoking pot. They said yes they were and let us into the apartment when we asked if we could come in (the other officer and I are big believers in the soft approach first). We confiscated the bongs and pot, and the primary officer issued them a summons for possession of a controlled substance. The homeowner also got a ticket for possession of drug paraphernalia (the two bongs which he stated were his). They were all nice guys and it was obvious they were very experienced pot smokers. I kept the door open since the air was so heavy with pot smoke. It was making me a little sick actually. We thanked them for their cooperation (I felt like we were British cops) and left. The whole call was very civilized.

How long will it take for marijuana to leave a pregnant woman's system/her unborn baby?

Ok, All I want to find out is how long it will take her to detox. I know that she's horrible, etc. I've told her that time and time again. . She smoked daily until 32 weeks and is about 5'2 and 200lbs. I'm not looking for anyone's personal opinon about how horrible she is and how the baby needs to be taken away. I agree with all of you but it's just wasting my time to read all of your opinions. "No offense". I just want to know the scientific/nedical facts so I can show her. Thank you.
