What kind of gun should I get my boyfriend?
I am thinking about get my boyfriend a new gun as an anniversary present. The problem is I know absolutely nothing about guns and have no idea what kind to get him. He already has a few rifles and shotguns so I kind of want to get him a handgun. How much I am looking at here...price wise? Are guns final sale or can you exchange it once you have already purchased one? I don't want to get him one if he ends up not liking it. But if I have to, I will just take him with me to pick one out, but I would rather surprise him, if I can get some good feedback and suggestions. So basically I want suggestions on good quality handguns, that a 24 year old guy would like and prices. Oh and I live in California...if that helps.

So i regret ever finding a Groupon deal for a gun range and thinking it would be a fun idea to go shoot some guns. Ever since then, my boyfriend has just loved the sport. In less than 6 months he has bought 3 guns and goes to the shooting range 2x a week. All he talks about is guns and what happens at the gun range. It's all seems like a whirlwind bc i knew he thought guns were cool before but that as the extent of it. It was just a statement. Now it seems like an obsession. The gun issues makes me uncomfortable bc he's OBSESSED! That's all he seems to talk about and the gun range is the only place he seems to wanna go on his day off. Now what? What do I say? Is this a faze? What do I even think?
Boyfriend wants a GUN?? Help. =/?
My boyfriend and I have been together for about a year. Recently we discovered that I have a good chance of being pregnant. We're discussing moving in together in the future for the baby, and that's when he asked me how I felt if he bought a gun and got his concealed weapons permit. I am NOT comfortable with it. If we did live together, we'd be in a good neighborhood. I've had so many friends get shot. I believe there are other alternatives to defense than guns. I'm just not okay with the thought of having one in the house with my baby. He says its for protection. I understand he'd want to protect us, but I don't want him to get himself killed. He says he's bummed I don't trust him. Which isn't the case at all; I just don't trust the gun, or how other people would react to it. What do you think I should do? (Rude posters can go **** themselves.)
My boyfriend has a gun..should i be concerned?
my boyfriend lives in one of the safest districts in the city,and the building he lives in has 24-7 security.they dont let anyone in unless the resident approves. But my bf keeps a pistol and a hunter-type knife on the shelves on each side of his bed. I asked him if there was any reason he has to keep them but he said "just in case". Is this normal? Should i be worried? He doesnt have a license and there is no reason he can get it,due to regulations.

My boyfriend hunts. It bothers me.?
My boyfriend is from Indiana and he is a gun loving hunter... I believe he shoots deer, quail, rabbits, you name it. Although he only hunts what he eats (not just for entertainment), I can't STAND the idea of him totting a gun on a Sunday afternoon to shoot a deer. He also loves hand guns and owns a few, and he's told me that, when he has kids, he would teach them to handle a gun as he was taught as a boy himself. Being a city girl, this whole idea is so alien to me... Should this be a critical consideration with regard to the future of our relationship? And how do I deal with this sort of "life style" gap in a relationship?
