So my mom and dad divorced when I was 10 I'm 17 now and her boyfriend is a real D***. He put her down emotionaly and verbaly. I got tired of it a week before this happened, this is what happened. It was Saturday me,my girlfriend, 2 of my guy friends and, one off there GF's. My mom brought us some water and her boyfriend started yelling at her over his car and was going to make her pay for a dent you couldn't even see unless you knew it was there. He started yelling at her and said " that idiot son of yours should pay for it, hes got a job" I said "its your car" he said "shut the f*** up and don't talk back. We were watching him talk down to my mom. He was saying my GF was messing with my grades and I have a 3.978 GPA I said that he said 4.000 is better. My mom, her boyriend, and I started talking and my friends were talking and he told them to Shut up and get some manners. My mom said "Don't be so mean" then he (Completely Sober) smacked her in the face. I grabbed him by the shoulder and punched him dead in the face with my knuckles clenched and all you saw was spit and blood go on his lips. He lost 2 teeth, broke 1, and a broken nose. ( he was 5'11", I'm 6' 3"). He called my mom a whore and left. He came back and was going through my stuff and I found my $1,100 guitar smashed. He said now were even. I fake lunged at him and he jumped back 2 feet and I laughed. He insulted me, my mom, my girlfriend, and friends. I can press charges for -Abuse -Destruction of property. -Assualt -Breaking and entering because he climbed through the back window. He can press charges for Assualt What should I do?

We have a good relationship but I was having a bad day yesterday. I was just writing out a form and my boyfriend snatched pencil out of my hand and walked off with it. I flew into a rage, I ran at him and punched him in the face. I got my pencil back but his nose was bleeding. I did not say sorry as he did start it but my boyfriend now wants it to be over. This is a very delicate and sticky situation. 1/3 of teens physically get abused in their relationship. I really don't want you to be a victim. But if you break up with him now, he'll think it's because of this. Give him another chance. He could have punched his sister by accident or was really angry and wasn't thinking and will never do it again. When I was 3 my brother hardly punched me in the stomach. My brother is the sweetest my like able guy you could ever meet and a lot of girls like him. He never hit anyone like that ever again. So just give your boyfriend a chance and see all the wonderful things about him. Be very cautious though and watch everything that he does and be careful to prevent him going upset like this again. Buy him a stress ball or a really soft pillow and tell him you would like him to use these when he feels like hurting someone. Tell him to scream in a pillow. There are many things you can do to help him. But take each step slowly and carefully not to get him mad in the process. Show him the love you've ahd for him since the very start and don't give up faith.

Hey well i realy think you should stop seeing him, and guy who hits you and takes advantage of you does not deserve to have you!! Honestly just talk to him about it and tell him how much you like him and how much you are attached to him, maybe he will try to be nicer.
