My Car Boot Unlocks All Of A Sudden Due To That Alarm Goes Off Constantly During The Day And Night

Will modern cars auto-lock if left unlocked after parking it?

Nope.A sure way for cars to lock their owners out if the owner leaves the purse inside while getting interrupted talking to a friend.

If I leave a car on with keyless ignition, will it eventually turn off by itself if I’ve walked away with the key?

Well in that case the car won’t turn off by itself. When you have a smart key access fob it is obviously needed to be inside the vehicle to turn the ignition on and drive off.Yes, someone could literally throw it out of the window while you are driving may be you have a little child that would pick it up and throw it somewhere out of the car. However, if it is thrown out of the window while you are driving the car, so now your vehicle will not display any information that you just lost the key or about the key missing from the vehicle which is a bit scary because you don’t really get to know that you lost your key until you get to the destination you were going and open the door. Once you open the door the vehicle will show the information and message will be pop up “No key detected” and this is the moment when you get to know that you lost your key. Now, if you turn off your ignition then there is no way to turn it on without a key and at this moment you arr stuck. But just when you turn the car off vehicle, a message will pop up “Restart now or key is needed” and at this point of time you only have few seconds in your hands to turn on the vehicle ignition else you will stuck there.Other case is, if you just step in your vehicle and turn on the ignition and still the car is parked and someone takes away your key, and as you just start to drive the vehicle, it will immediately show that the key is missing or key is not detected. But the ignition won’t turn off until you do that.

What are some slang terms used among police officers?

The most derogatory terms for the bad guys and citizens who are just pains in the rectum:A.H. = Adam Henry (A-dam H-enry) If you don’t get it…..sometimes you will hear it as “Jack Hole”…..now what starts with an “A” that ends with HOLE ?RICHARD CRANIUM= What starts with a “D” and is a nickname for Richard ? What is the non-medical layman’s term for the Cranium ? Do these clues HEAD you in the right direction ?

My car keeps locking by itself. What could it be?

My car keeps locking by itself. What could it be?My car(s) - German brands - lock themselves when you start driving (this is configurable), and they also lock themselves if you unlock them with the remote and then don’t open the door within a certain period of time (I think it’s about 1 minute 30 secs). So that you don’t unlock the car, realise you forgot something, and then leave the car unlocked accidentally.Otherwise I heard from a colleague that he was struggling with his car locking itself all the time - it turned out his remote was constantly sending a “lock… lock… lock…” signal because the lock button was jammed. Not likely, perhaps, but worth checking.I suppose it is also possible that your car (or at least its locking system) is possessed by an evil spirit. But a good religious garage should be able to diagnose and exorcise that. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist…)

Does anyone have a solution for my Moto G auto switching off?

Problem: Moto G won’t turn onA few people have run into a problem where the Moto G simply refuses to turn on. It seems to be completely dead and doesn’t respond to key presses.Potential solution:Plug it in to the charger and then press and hold the Volume down key and the Power key for more than two minutes (time it to make sure you’re doing it for long enough). You should see the boot screen with the Normal Reboot option highlighted and you can press Volume up to boot it.If that doesn’t work you should contact your retailer, carrier, or Motorola.Problem: Freezing and rebootingA lot of people have been having trouble with the Moto G screen freezing and the phone rebooting at random times, sometimes when the screen is off. This could occur with a specific app, the phone dialer, or without an obvious pattern.Workarounds:Tap the power button to turn the screen off and then tap it again to bring it back. This might temporarily unfreeze it.Tap and hold the power button for a few seconds, until the device reboots.Potential fixes:Try running the Moto G in safe mode. Press the power button and then tap and hold Power off until the Reboot to safe mode window pops up. Tap OK and it will reboot in safe mode. If it worked, you’ll see the text Safe Mode in the bottom left corner of the screen. If the phone runs fine in safe mode then one of your apps is the problem. You could try removing installed apps one at a time until you find the culprit, or you could just wipe the device and start from scratch. You can factory reset via Menu > Settings > Backup & reset > Factory Data resetand then tap Reset Phone. Make sure you back up anything precious first. There’s a chance that a faulty SIM card is the problem. If you have another SIM card that you can try then switch it out and see if it makes a difference.

The Maruti Swift VXI central locking beeps 3 times when locked. What does it mean? How do I bring it back to one?

It probably means that the hood (bonnet) or the trunk (boot) is not closed properly. It could also mean a minor wiring fault due to which the car cannot realise that the doors, bonnet or boot is closed. So if everything is properly closed, get it checked. My Maruti Suzuki Swift ZDI beeps thrice when i lock it because the bonnet doesn't close properly.Hope this helps.
