My Cat Is Two Months And It Has Thrown Up Three Times Already What

Cat is throwing up, and has cold ear tips.?

Depending on how cold the ears are , there are a few things you need to check for... Look at her Gums... If they are anything but a rosy pink and the inside of her eyes or red or bloodshot i would take her to the vet ASAP.

You say she is drooling, That might point to either something she ate that is poisonous which would also tie in with the vomiting.

What does the vomit look like? If she is throwing up clear liquid that would point to poison, BUT if it has hair in it and looks like its foodstuffs it might be slightly better.

Cats often throw up if they have a hair ball stuck. Also make sure she is drinking fluids as she might get dehidrated. But i think its best if you get specialist advice as soon as possible

Cat hasn't eaten in two days after throwing up?

He was a stray that my husband found. We think he's about three years old. When we first had him he had an ear infection and he had a really bad cold. Friday he ate some chicken before bed, then threw up about three times, he has not eaten since. He drinks water every few hours, but he's getting weaker. We want to take him to the vet, but we can't until tomorrow since everything is closed. We are really worried about him and just want to know if there's anything we can practically do to help him?

Why does my cat keep throwing up after she eats her food?

Is she throwing up or just regurgitating her food?Regurgitation is pretty quick, within a couple of minutes and the whole lot comes back up, more or less looking the same as when it went down. Rescue cats do this a lot because they get used to having to eat really fast. If this is the case, stop feeding her so much in one go and don’t give it in a bowl. Spread her daily food into more frequent, smaller meals and spread it out on a large plate or tray so that she can’t shovel in huge mouthfuls. With regurgitation the cat will often look “surprised” and then try and eat it again.Being sick will involve partially digested food coming back up, perhaps with foam. It will not not look like biscuits or whatever you feed her, and the colour may have changed. If she is doing this and her behaviour has changed you need to take her to the vet and speed is of the essence. The cat will not try and eat it again.Regurgitation will not hurt your cat, but it won’t be pleasant for her, so try and adjust how you feed her.All cats throw up, as a cat owner you need to pay attention to what it looks like, what’s in it and what it smells like! Pay close attention to her behaviour, her eyes, her breath, and how she is sitting. Cats are very subtle creatures, especially when ill so you need to start recognising the signs.Good luck!

My 3 month old male kitten is vomitting yellow bial - he threw up 3 times since last night - what should I do?

My 3 month old kitten was his usual silly self when I got home from work last night. At about 1 am my boyfriend woke me up to tell me that the baby was vomitting. I got up and offered him some water and cleaned up the mess. He did not drink anything, so I brought him back to bed with me and he just curled up and went to sleep which is weird because he would usually attack me for at least a little while. When we woke up this morning, he threw up again - the same yellow bial. He has not brought up since, but now won't eat, and I have to force him to drink some water. He is just lying around, very inactive, which is not like him at all. I tried to feed him some rice to help settle his belly and he won't take it... even when I tried to mix in a tiny bit of tuna to entice him. I don't want to take him to the vet just yet, as he has stopped vomitting and is not having loose bowel movements... is there something that I should do in the mean time? Can anyone give me some advice please? Thanks!

My cat keeps throwing up?

My cat is three months old and 1.6 kilos. He's had two rounds of vaccinations so far and is due for one more. I've been feeding him half a can of canned food in the morning which he usually gobbles up and then free feed him dry food for the rest of the day. He's been throwing up since saturday night so far about 15 times. the first time was with chunks of food but after that its been clear liquid until he tries to eat something and then he throws it up again. today is monday night and i took him to the vet this morning and he got two shots and and oral injection and only give him dry food and gatorade. it seems like he's starting to have diarrhea too now but its hard for me to tell if its diarrhea or barf since he does both in the litter box. the vet told me to come back tomorrow but i'm in korea and i don't understand him very well and he didn't really give a reason for why my cat was acting like this other than 'he has a cold' what should i do?

My cat has been vomiting about once every two weeks. What could be causing this?

Cats puke every now and then due to hairballs. Try to get some "pet grass" for him/her to get rid of the nausea that comes along with it. The grass has something in it that pets like and it really helps them!!!
