My Cat Wakes Up My Baby Every Night Any Ideas

My cat keeps waking me up at night.?

Try and get your cat to get on your schedule. It's very possible. I rescued a cat from outside that probably hunted and played during the night and slept during the day which is natural for a cat and now he's on my schedule - he sleeps not only through the night but I often wake HIM up in the morning when I want to get out of bed because he's laying on me or next to me and preventing me from getting out of bed. LOL.

Make sure that he isn't sleeping during the day all day. Try and wake him up after he's been napping for an hour.. don't let him nap for 4 hours or 5 hours at a time. Also, try feeding him with set feeding times - preferably one in the morning and one at night like around 9 pm or even later if you can. Then play with him after he's finished eating to get him good and tired. See if this helps him sleep through the night more...

My kid everyday comes to my room at night when he wakes up, someone suggested me to have a pet and then he will not feel alone at night. Will this work with kids to have pet to make sure they stay in their room?

Your child*, (we have no clue of age) does not need a furry baby-sitter. Children need parents 24/7. By the way, you might just find out that dogs need to take a walk in the middle of the night. It's easier to let a little child crawl into your warm bed. If you are truly interested in a pet, then choose a very affectionate breed of cat. RAGDOLL cats are known to be cuddly….as long as the child is old enough to treat it nicely. One hard pull on a cat’s tail is a death sentence. (the nerves to the bladder get damaged, and cat has to be put down because it cannot empty the bladder and it will eventually explode causing horrific pain). * *please don't refer to your own child as ‘kid’, it sounds so disrespectful…..

Why does my cat wake me up at 5 am every morning???

Lately my damn cat has taken to hopping up onto the bed at 5 am and just meowing and bumping into me, over and over until I wake up. I have no idea what she wants and can't seem to get her to stop, so I have to get up. Sometimes I close the bedroom door but then I just feel guilty because I can hear her on the other side, wanting to come in, etc.

Is there ANY way to get her to let me sleep in a little?

I mean I get up at 6- why can't she just wait an hour before waking me up?

Wishful thinking...

I wake up middle of night, my cat only inches away from my face staring at me?

Here is some detail: My 2 cats have access to fresh food and water 24/7. When I stare back, he eventually leaves but if I close my eyes pretend to be sleeping, he rubs his head against my hand like he wants me to pet him. If both my hands are under the covers, he crawls under the covers and look for it so that I would pet him. He such a baby lol

Do you hear cats every night around 2-3am at the night screaming?

This happened to me two nights ago!! Yes it was scary. I read somewhere that cats imitate the noise of a baby crying so that humans will come to take care of them. I literally thought a baby was crying outside my door step, and I was going to open the door and look for it but first I woke my mom and told me it was a cat. I also hear thumping noises when I lay down to go to bed and I can't help thinking it's the dajjal or something walking around the earth...

Just say duah and you will be fine. I think one of the posts above me already gave ayatul khursi, just hang it on the wall next to your bed. Also a duah before sleeping is:

"Allahumma Bismika Amutu Wa-Ahyaa"
Oh Allah, in Your name I die and I live

Why do I keep waking up at 3am every morning?

You have something that is bothering you that needs to be resolved.

Usually, this kind of pattern is known to pre-date depression, so do take care of it.

I am assuming here that you did not change the time when you go to sleep by say 3 to 5 hours earlier. This would make you wake up at around 3 as your body would be rested.

When this happened to me, I took a herb based sleeping pill (nightol) just before sleeping for a couple of days, and this cut the habit and I started sleeping ok after that. But if this goes on, go see your gp and tell him about it.

Good Luck.

How can I get my cat to sleep at night? She meows, waking us up. It’s not because she’s hungry—she grazes.

Cats are naturally crepuscular animals. Their Circadian rhythm releases hormones in response to light and temperature changes that make them most active during the Evening and very early morning before dawn.Humans on the other hand are naturally diurnal animals. Our circadian rhythm releases hormones in response to light and temperature changes that make us most active during daylight hours and very early evening before sunset (although us humans can offset this through clothing, outright ignoring our own bodies needs, and consumption of substances like Caffeine).Cats are unable to change their hormonal response any more than you can change your own to feel eager to exercise at 3am, or not get jetlag after a 10 hour eastbound flight. The only way to get your cat to sleep at night is to make them really really unhealthy so that they get a sleep disorder or reduced energy levels, or turn them into something that isn’t a cat.Getting a cat to sleep at night is a bit like trying to get an Owl or a Bat to sleep at night. You will have just as much success changing your schedule so you sleep all day, and do all your work and social life after 10pm, eat lunch at 2am, and go to bed when the sun rises.Best thing you can do is try to find a way to put your cat in a location where you can’t hear it at night. For a while it will still meow and scratch, because it’s lonely. But once it gets used to the idea that you disappear at night, your cat will adjust. Just make sure it doesn’t get bored, so ensure it has enough toys and places to explore and patrol it doesn’t resort to trying to literally dig through walls to go outside. Also make sure it knows where to go to the toilet and can get there, and knows how to get there, when you aren’t around.
