Yahoo mail auto spell check?
If you are using Beta Mail, now called 'Regular' Mail, you must enable Rich Text to show the format bar for outgoing mail. If the mail says Plain Text, you are already in Rich Text, and vice versa - it is a 'toggle switch'. At the right is the spell-check icon to click. Right-click the squiggly lines within the message to get suggested corrections - AFTER you have finished composing. You must chose the country preference first. The spell check icon is on the far right side. If you’re in Plain Text, click Spell Check at the top – it’s between Save As A Draft and Cancel. If Spell Checker sees a misspelled word in your email, a “Suggestions:” box opens on the upper right, with a few words it thinks you might be trying to spell. If one of Spell Checker’s suggestions is correct, click on it to select it, and then click Change. Click the down-arrow on the right end of Change to reveal “Change all occurrences” if you think you’ve misspelled the word throughout your email. They will all be fixed. Meanwhile, there is a browser extension for all type-in sites for Internet Explorer called IE Spell. http://www.iespell.com/ Another one is Speckie. http://www.speckie.com/features/ where you right-click the mis-spelled words to get the suggested corrections. The IE Spell program installs as a new button in the IE toolbar, as well as a new menu item under 'Tools', and in the right-click menu too. After filling in a form or mail, just click the ieSpell button and it pops up a dialog, similar to the MS Word spell check. - Suggestions are sorted by the degree of closeness with the misspelled word. - Easily add/remove your personal words in ieSpell via a personal dictionary - Works for any web page when you type.
Yahoo email spell check?
when I reply to, or forward a message I am unable to find the "spell check" on yahoo email. I am using the newest version. I used to be able to use this feature when I had yahoo classic
My icons are missing in yahoo mail, how do i get them back?
Sometimes you really have to scroll WAY down to see these icons. Also, the check box sometimes does not appear unless you hover your pointer over where they should be...If this does not work... Temporary glitches do happen and most of the time Yahoo is aware of it and is presently trying to resolve the issue. If you have the patience you can wait until Yahoo corrects the problem. If you don't have the patience you can switch to another browser to see if it helps...you can switch back to see if the problem has corrected itself.
