My Computer Keeps Reseting For No Reason Help

Computer keeps restarting?

My computer keeps restarting itself at random.

My computer has always been really noisy and gets dusty easily and we have had a few instances where dust needed to be removed from my computer.

At the start of December, my computer shut itself down and refused to start up again. We had an engineer out who told me it was a motherboard problem and put a new one. Now, every couple of days, my computer restarts itself saying it recovered from a "serious error" and ever since I had the new motherboard put in, every once in a while when I'm typing, it'll stall and repeat the letter ("typinggggggggggggggggggg") or delete the whole sentence if I press backspace once. My keyboard is not sticky.

This has happened ever since I got the new motherboard.

My computer just restarted again, a blue screen came up and started "checking disks" and started doing something involving 3 stages. Then it came back on.

Fan? Motherboard? Virus? Anything else? Help?

My computer keeps restarting/ black screen?

When i use my computer it goes to a black screen at random times. These times are unexpected. I restored my computer back to origanel settings a couple of weeks back. When it goes black i have to reset my computer by holding the power button. Help please?(Screen power remains on)
And then sometimes now my computer keeps restarting instead of a black screen. once it restarts it does it repeatedly until i manually reboot it.

Why does my computer keep restarting?

My laptop keeps restarting randomly. I will be using it and then with no notice it will turn off and restart. When it finishes rebooting it has this error message,

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.768.3
Locale ID: 4105

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 1a
BCP1: 0000000000005001
BCP2: FFFFF78000001000
BCP3: 0000000000011B6D
BCP4: 00011B72EAFFFFFE
OS Version: 6_0_6001
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 768_1

I have tried restoring it to factory settings but that does not seem to have helped. It uses windows vista as an OS. Also internet explorer and some other problems seem to be having problems as well with not responding and shutting down suddenly.

Thank you.

Why does my computer keep reboothing itself?

From what I've read... all the answers so far are possible, it could be:

Your HDD is going out
System Overheating
You have a virus
Hardware conflicts
what I would do, is remove EVERYTHING, even delete the partition on your hdd... repartition, reformat, then install your OS.. but leave your internet unplugged.... so that you can install antivirus before your pc connects to the internet.. I've had my pc get a virus right after installation. install the antivirus, do a system scan, then connect your internet, and do all the updates for your antivirus, if it comes back clean again, and still reboots... I would think it'd be a hardware conflict, or bad hdd.... I have actually had my computer reboot when playing some memory intensive games.... I think my ram actually heats up, and causes the system to hang, and reboot.... so your memory actually COULD cause that too... but normally if you have bad memory, your pc just won't boot..

Why does my computer monitor keep shutting off for seemingly no reason?

If you keep getting a ‘No signal detected’ message, my guess is your monitor is not getting a signal, so there is nothing for it to show. The usual cause is a computer error or a loose monitor cable. Check the cable connection, see if the screen reactivates and your data is still there. If it’s the computer screwing up, you’ll need to reboot the computer os whatever else is called for for it to stop doing that.If the computer is working fine and nothing’s wrong when you get the monitor working again, and there is nothing wrong with the monitor cable connections, then the next culprit would be the monitor cable itself. Or the adapter, if you’re using one. It’s rare, but cables and/or adapters do occasionally fail, and this is the least-expensive possible fix.The next possibilities are the video card or the monitor itself. This can get pricey, and if you’re asking this question, you probably shouldn’t try to do this yourself. Time to call a tech or take it in for service.

Why does my computer keep randomly freezing? How can I fix it?

By “freezing” I infer that the inquiry is about a computer that is hard-locking.Hard-locking is different from a soft-lock or spontaneous restart.A soft-locked computer can still be brought to control by pressing CTRL-ALT-DEL. This often occurs when an application is running but becomes non-responsive. Sometimes this is a memory management problem from the stopped app.A spontaneous restart is usually power related. It may not be the power supply itself, but too heavy a burden placed on an under-powered power supply unit (PSU) for the computer, based on the particular CPU, video card, number of hard drives, etc.Hard-locking means that the computer will not respond to keyboard presses at all and the last frame remains on the screen. This can often happen during gaming. The only things that change this hardlocked status is depressing the Power button and holding it for up to ten seconds. This shuts down the computer to allow for restarting or rebooting.Depressing the Power button is better than turning off the switch on the power supply abruptly, at the back of the computer, especially if you have mechanical hard drives.Try dusting out the inside of your computer with canned air.It sounds like CPU overheating is the problem and dust can often exacerbate marginal or insufficient cooling conditions. If the fan on the CPU has slowed remarkably, that could be the culprit. The bearings of CPU fans eventually wear down over time, some lasting longer than other, cheapy fans.If it’s a relatively new computer and the CPU cooling is known to be sufficient, the BIOS settings for overclocking could be too high (that is, if the computer is overclocked) and the CPU is overheating from an inadequate cooling solution.
